The only reason I disapprove of H5 Dungeon, is because some of the units were copied from Warhammer. If not for that, the faction was great. Though I hope that if it would ever return, it would be heavily modified. Keep the hedonistic, bloodthirsty Dark Elves as the dominant race of the Dungeon, but find another image for them. Let them not be Warhammer clones this time. That's the only thing, I would actually request from Ubisoft, concerning the Dungeon.
Another thing I would like to see is the Reptilian features of the Dungeon (dinosaurs, hydra) gone. Keep them in reserve in case H3 Fortress ever returns. Not that the Hydra was any bad with the Dungeon. It's just that it makes for an excellent champion at a Lizardfolk faction.

Kodial is a fantastic poster. 
Sometimes I agree with him and somethings I completely disagree with him. Isn't that fun and exciting?

The Matriarch was okay in my opinion, but she definitely needed some more work.
The Blood Furies/Maidens an the other *shudder* That's some snowing piece of snow unit design-wise I'll tell ya. How could they replace the harpy with such a colorless unit?

330 YSD: 1 st Eclipse - War of the Blood Moon – Creation of the Orcs
A total lunar eclipse provokes a massive rupture of the Demon Prison. The Demon Lords force their way out and raven across lands. Armies are rallied to meet them, but, caught by surprise, they are rapidly overwhelmed.
The Demons are finally defeated but at most terrible cost. The Demon Lords are cast down, and the surviving demons banished back to their hellish prison. The Dragon Knights emerge from hiding to repair the prison as best they can, then vanish once again.

Called upon for assistance, the wizards of the Seven Cities send their forces into battle. They experiment with demon blood, which they inoculate into human slaves and criminals. The monstrous Orcs are created as a result. Bolstered by the Orc shock troops, the Alliance defeats the Demons. The Demon Lords are cast down, and the surviving demons banished back to their hellish prison.
In the wake of this second demon war, Orcs are re-settled in the Falcon Empire as well as the Seven Cities. They are not granted their freedom, but instead serve as indentured troops.

467-504 YSD: The Orc Crusades
Orcish rebellion in the Seven Cities, which spreads to Haven.
Rejecting their masters and the Dragon Gods, the Orcs declare themselves free.
In the Falcon Empire, Crusades are declared against the Orcs – attempts to subjugate them and convert them back to dragon worship. The fighting is brutal, and the Orcs are relentlessly driven back. Eventually, the unrepentant survivors flee wherever they can, including the deserts of the south, the steppes of the north-east and the Barrier Islands of the east.
A great storm sinks the Haven fleet that was prepared to follow the Orcs to their island refuge. The Falcon Emperor declares this a sign from the Dragons, and formally ends the Orcish Crusades.

Beast-men (minotaurs, centaurs, harpies…) are created as servants, playthings, and guards in the Seven Cities. Their stated purpose is to replace the Orcs.

His head turned by a band of flatterers, the third Elf king, Arniel decided that elvish power was too decentralized, and the method of choosing a High King too random. Instead, central power was needed to go with a hereditary monarchy. While many objected to this, only Tuidhana, Queen of a tiny realm which sat on the border with the Falcon Empire, chose to act and declared her independence.

540 YSD: War of the Bitter Ashes – birth of the Dark Elves
The Knights of the Holy Falcon Empire, for their part, saw an opportunity. They marched in force on Tuidhana's borders. She appealed to Arniel for assistance, but her messengers were turned away from the High King's court unheard.
“She stands alone, let her fight alone,” was Arniel's decree, and it was not until humans had nearly overrun all of Tuidhana's realm before he finally acted.
With Tuidhana sufficiently humbled (or so he thought), Arniel marched his forces to the border and engaged the Human armies in the so-called War of Ashes. Neither side paid much heed to the elves whose lands they fought over.
Desperate to protect her people, Tuidhana turned to other allies. As her lands were burned and her subjects killed, she made a pact with one of the few surviving Faceless, rumoured to have long since been driven extinct. If she would turn herself and her people to the worship of Malassa, the Dragon of Darkness, then the Faceless would grant her the power she wanted.
Tuidhana made the bargain, and the Dark Elves were thus created from the surviving elves of her kingdom. Both elves and humans were expelled from the contested terrain, and Tuidhana reaffirmed her independence. An uneasy peace settled between Elves and the Dark Elves.

564 YSD: 2 nd Eclipse - Rise of the Demon Sovereign
Total lunar eclipse. This time the Blind Brothers had predicted it, and the Alliance, helped by the Dragon Knights, is quick to react. Only a small band of demons manage to escape into the world. The names of the Demon Lords, Urgash's first children, are heard no more. Instead, the name of Mal-Beleth, new and only Demon Sovereign, appears.

566 YSD: Day of the Tears of Fire – death of Tuidhana
A massive fire burns down the Elven capital. The High King Arniel dies in the flames with most of his court. Brythigga, the Mother of Trees, sacred to the Elves, is also consumed by the fire, leaving a blackened scar on the earth where nothing would ever grow again. The loss is devastating.
The Dark Elves are blamed and given an offer of exile or death by Arniel's son, Vaniel. Most chose exile; the rest are hunted down and destroyed without mercy. Tuidhana remains with her lands and is killed.
The place where Brythigga had stood was stricken from the maps, and to this day no elf will go there. Another Mother of Trees has been consecrated, hidden deep within the forests, but no Elf will speak of her to outsiders.

585 YSD: Discovery of Demon implication in the Day of the Tears of Fire
Dragon Knights bring evidence to the Elves that Brythigga's criminal fire was set by a Demon spy. Emissaries are sent from the forest to the wandering Dark Elves, offering amnesty and inviting them to return home. The offer is refused.

The Necromancer presence grows until they are a powerful political force in the Seven Cities.

From the mixed timeline, I am afraid we will not meet Wizards, Their references in Heroes 6's timeline is minimum. But who knows? Necromancer's references also minimum but they are included. Put my bet on Dungeon and Sylvan in the first expansion though.

This dark and modern like setting of Dark elves is was nice for me. Yes a do like such clothing, but the problem every ware is hard to make it look elegant and noble and not cheap. H-5 didn't manage this.

Hmm I really like today's screenshot. Not because of the poor Maniac again  but the Ravager in the background  Dont know if anyone else noticed, that on his back hes kinda flaming, smoldering like H5 upgrades. Thats really cool, I like it 
Kinda for this picture. In Inferno the Pitlord, and the Ravager will be the only large creatures? Because so far it seems to me that each faction has only 2 of them compared to the 3 of H5.
Other thing. Today when I woke up, I got enlightened  This is not really another crying about creatures, just another aspect of how the elite tier of Inferno could have been built. Now we have the Juggernaut, the Tormentor, and the Breeder as elite tier. Now if I think about a Tormentor, who is a demon as well I whink about some kind of caster unit, with some really bad@ss woodo, who makes even the elite to cry for his mother, and pee in his bed, while sleeping  Maybe todays Tormentor has some abilities that makes him similar to my vision, maybe not. If my Tormentor would be in the Inferno then u would say that we had 2 support/casters in elite. Thats true, and here comes the other half of my elite tier: we exchanged the Breeder, who so far i cant really value as long as I havent seen what she accomplishes in combat I used some of the old stile, and always beloved demons, the Nightmare, or who would be even more awesome the Efreet

Okay this Screen Shot is awesome! The Seraph looks quite good, even if you can't see it that detailed.
I wonder something about that tree, will it have a special function like on ordinary maps or will it just exist on Campaign maps as "decoration"?

I really like this more "magical" approach to haven, it feels fresh. It also opens up the possibility that a potential future sylvan faction is going to be more "serious" (perhaps a bit more like it was in H3) not to clash with the new haven. The sylvan faction in H5 was a bit to "nice-looking" for my taste, I would like it more feral and gritty, but still noble

Yes seraph is better than I expected, if anything the swords don't look as cumbersome in the artwork. Wings seem a bit strange though. Also it seems the two statues here are different.
And I am sorry but I cannot comment on ubi's reveal plan. Sometimes we are allowed to say when to expect something but rarely what exactly and we only hear the planned updates on Fridays or Mondays.

About screenshot of the day - beautiful golden tree. And also the small creature in the left upper corner - is it a Priestess? (Sister, Vestal, it's the same)
And omg - the Seraph is truly awesome, I didn't spot it a couple of minutes ago, I thought that it's an angel's statue. But speaking about statues - we have the same Hydra-Dark elf one.

About the golden tree. It could be the 'level up tree' but it's too big. And next to it has another building (the statue). So I thing it's a decoration.

It's standing out too much to be just decoration, and it's shining too bright. It has to be an adventure map location but I'm clueless as to what.

I doubt it since Xhane said it was Elrath's sacred tree, so either it's a Haven related building or it's just decoration

I think it is just decoration...
Like you get this mission where you have to protect that tree from whoever might threaten it. (And all you have to do is to do is defeat the enemy )

Right next to the statue next to the tree one can see a small patch of paved road so its very unlikely its only decoration because you must visit it at some point...strange seraph wings
