Don't care about the tree, but there's something else worth seeing on the screenshot.
Even if I almost can't see them, I love the priestess and the Seraph. Never expected them to be this good. I mean, the artwork made them look worse than H5 angels, but in -game they actually look better. And I love Seraphs wings, even if their a bit weird

So, I guess, everything has reached its final stage in the game, including the fifth faction, and everything else. I don't suppose there will be any heavy changes in the gameplay and contents in February, right?

They can spend the entire February, fishing for bugs and polishing it out. Well, the testers would do that, the rest could just focus on updating us with news!

I hope they really take this time to polish certain things. For one I want there to an abundance of options.
I want to be able to customize the difficulties of the AI in a good way. Not like in Heroes 5, where you played on Heroic so that the AI wouldn't limit itself with building and spells. But on the other you didn't want the them to have 4x the resources then what you had, and that they were super aggressive and retreat as soon as they just entered the battle

No more I tell ya, instead more options for the people!

When i see these in game map pictures, there is one thing that comes to my mind. They look like Heroes 5.

Why do i still preffer Heroes 3 to heroes 5 despite the 5 having more interesting ameliorations and better graphics ?

Well i think it's because heroes 3 doesn't use real distance between the different objects that can be found on the map, unlike H5 and H6 seems to do. This makes that you can have a lot more interesting items on your map each close to others at the same time,  and because H3 is in 2D, every item is the same well detailled drawn. This gives you a much better overview, and makes the game faster.

So i think they should less use real distance btw the different items, but rather symbolic distances, compressing the world more. Or they could just add some larger view but keeping the objects at a minimum magnitude so that we can see their details still well enough.

I've noticed that too, actually.  Even the combat map seems too big for the armies, in comparison with H3 and earlier.  It takes some creatures five combat rounds to cross the battlefield, when in H3 it would take the same unit only four turns (and that was with a speed of 2!).

What I didn't like about H5 was the fact that the battlefield was so huge that no matter how big your unit was, it looked tiny.  That part, at least, seems to have changed somewhat in H6.  From what I've seen so far, it looks like the battlefield more or less complements the units that will be appearing on it.

As for the screen shots, they're interesting, but at this point I'm finding it difficult to discuss them.  We've seen all the Haven units, we've seen all the Necropolis and Stronghold units, the only ones we really haven't seen are Inferno and that's primarily because I expect they don't appear in the prologue that the screenshots are coming from.  The screenshots aren't telling us anything new, because the buildings we see on the adventure map are still just icons; we have no information about what exactly the Crystal Mine does, or that little seven-dragon-altar thing, or any of them.  These are screen shots for the sake of having screen shots, as near as I can tell, and while those are always fun to look at and I don't begrudge them, they don't exactly feed the discussion.

As for the battle field size. I think it is 2 squares wider ...  so it is a little bit bigger,and thats good

According to the battle scenes of the few videos we have there wont be such rushing like in H5. Vampire, and even the Harpy cant cross the whole battlefield in 1 round. So we can tell that the battlefield will be somehow "bigger". I think its kinda good, never really liked that stile of play to tell you the truth

I hope that's true. Never liked the Blood Fury upgrade.

About neutrals, we know at least 10 :
4 elementals;
Phoenix;
Michael;
Dragon Eel;
Mother Namtaru;
That fire worm from the artwork of Sandor;
The last Christmas tree creature we don't know what it is (please be a mermaid).

and since every artwork had one creature, who knows if the fallen angel that is on the Kiril's artwork isn't a boss too?

Since yesterday "news" wasn't on the oficial site and last week we got only 2 updates (2 concept arts), I think we actually only get 2 news for week

I don´t understand this obsession with neutral creatures. Just make the faction creatures visually interesting and give them nice abilities. Then hope for H6 to be a success with upcoming expansions with new factions and visually interesting units with nice abilities and so on.

For a game that is lowering the focus on the building phase and on the map adventure interactions and that is explicitely wanting to put emphasis on the battles, a low choice of creatures to fight is a huge mistake.

Would you have fun if you were playing a game in which all creatures on the map are only creatures from your own castle ? I know I wouldn't, no matter how much better battles will be in H6.

I'm NOT saying that I want 100 neutrals, but there should be at least 10 neutral cores, 6-7 neutral elites and maybe 3-5 neutral champions to slow down the "deja-vu" factor.

Neutrals: I want as much as every single creature that ever appeared in any heroes game. Every creature has one good part in it (tell me one and I will tell you a good part in it) They should keep introducing creatures but not making other creatures disapear. AS boring and strange as the brawler was it should return or it is a step back. Everyone H3 fortress fan knows how it is to loose something in next game and knows that it is bad to not receive other creatures back in the next games.

I disagree with you in this part. No all things from one game should be put into the next one.

But I hope there will be as many neutrals as possible, and that there will by a way to make them interesting for the player to take. In H5 and H3 even if there was a dwelling of a neutral creature, only few players would recrute them into their army. In H2 there the number ow these creatures was 3-4 times a normal week growth at the beginning of the game. That set the player before a chose to recruit these unites if he found them or not to recruit to have money for his own development. A rush with 20 nomads or 8 Medusas was an option and not a pleasant thing to meet.

I was always frustrated by neutral creatures, because - especially the cooler ones - were rarely available for me to put into my army.  Some of the neutrals in H5 were really solid units, but because they had no external dwelling, you never got to use them yourself and see how they operated.

I don't care how many neutral creatures there are.  More is better, probably.  But I'd like to be able to recruit and command them, whether it's through Diplomacy or through an external dwelling or (ideally) a Mercenary Town.  Elementals I don't care so much about.  But Death Knights?  Come on.  There's no reason why they shouldn't have been in my army at some point.

Yet another thing that 3DO/NWC got right in Heroes 3 that Ubi/Nival didn't understand was important in Heroes 5. We had a dwelling for each neutral in H3 and even though there was a dwelling for the elementals in H5, it never worked properly. Every try setting it up to include all four of them like you could for the Military Posts? Well, if not let me tell you it never worked. It only gave you one of the elementals and it was random.

Any way, to reiterate, we need as many neutral units as possible and each one needs their own external dwelling. If not one for each, then at least a Core, Elite, and Champion Neutral dwelling where we can specify which ones may appear.

     If I'm not mistaken in the left side is a mercenary unit (or some early draft for Heaven Hero) and the right side is the Heaven Campaign Hero ANTON.
     Now if you wanted to point out the similarities in posture and build, well I've noticed that the artist(s) for H6 use the same reference posture and angle respectively start from the same humanoid shape (template) for a lot of units when drawing (i suppose is faster and easier), hence the idea that the ghoul, tormentor, goblin and maniac look alike which has been dismissed with a in-game screen shot of the three one next to the other
