Some bugs that I have seen in a TCP/IP match.
1) The use of the right mouse button by the non-current player. I think when he use right click mouse on some structure like obelisks, Windmills and others where flag "visited" is shared (if allied).
2) 4 type of error when a player open a Treasure Chest 2 after day1 (I think when you have the chance to win a mine):
1st case: chest is empty: you can hear the sound, but you find nothing... When you find the first empty, also the next are empty (error doesn't appear. But I have seen that this is an old bug).
2nd case: game go to Win when open (Log in the rar).
3rd case: when chest can give a mine, appear an error (I have seen FU5208)(Log in the rar).
4th case (rare): appears a loop error of a function and I can only use Alt+f4 to exit without create a log, but I have created some screenshot (I think that happens with HD mod)...
3) "Obelisk Rune" often doesn't work. An obelisk gives a spell at the first visit, but after that each obelisk gives Summon Boat (and Summon Boat is banned in my option). I think that script works with variable=0. For this error I have a save game.
Can you test please?
I have disable a lot of mods (no HD mod).
I have tested only with Morn Battelfield, Yona 5.0, Wog Revised and Wog (in this order in mod manager).
Procedure to test Treasure Chest 2 bugs:
Start a new TCP/IP game with my option (Settings_Era2.46.NoBoatSpells.dat) and with my map (00_Test-Sguazz.h3m).
Custom alliance: Red and Blu vs Tan and Green.
Red Turn: don't open chests, but end the day1.
Blue Turn: like above.
Red Turn: move Edric on a Treasure Chest 2 and see the error: if in the first chest you find a scroll or a secondary skill, script works. Then the error is random...
For the obelisk bug you can load Obelisk.GM2 and see near Adela and Sylvia.

Sguazz, the obelisk problem occurs only in tcp/ip mode? I started your map 6 times in single and obelisks working well. From your save is impossible to determine what's wrong, the summon boat spell is already set, I would need the save before visiting it for the first time.

These problems happen only in tcp/ip (I play this game only in TCP/IP with a friend).
I have tryed many times in my lan to understand when this problems happen...
But nothing... I think that the cause is the right click of the non-current player.
Edit: Tested in my LAN and in a single pc with 2 game copies where I have changed ID in heroes.ini.

Well, this is very hard to test without lan. If you have the opportunity, you could maybe try to fix them: add messages displaying variables in both scripts when treasures or obelisks are visited. Compare them between both players turn.

Val, make game copy, delete "UniqueId" line in heroes3.ini of one of the copies. Start both copies, tcp/ip game, one is server, the second joins the first. And play as usual.

I have found a source of the crashes in a TCP/IP match.
I try to explain...
Create a TCP/IP game (also in the same pc like written above).
Select a scenario or a random map. L or XL is better.
Now I suggest to create an alliance between the 2 players (then you can see why).
Day1 Red: Move a Hero around to discover some object that uses the flag "visited" (Learning stones, Windmills, Obelisks, etc.).
End Red turn.
Day1 Blue: Like above.
Day2: Now with Red, go with the mouse on the area that Blue player has discovered and use right mouse on an map object. When Red ends the turn, Blue returns to Windows...
When you click an object in an area that you don't have discovered, but that is been discovered by another player, game crashes. This happens often.
For the other 2 problems (Treasure Chest 2 and Obelisk Runes) I'll try again...

Not sure to whom I shall direct my question/request so I put one in both forums.
It seems like some things is either deleted or disabled by something when you choose to run both Era 2.46 and HoMM3 HD 3.48f.
I´d LOVE to be able to use the fantastic move troops and artifacts that HoMM3 HD 3.48f gives you, but when using Era its not there.
And the cool thing about using Townportal that both shows type of town and sets them in order of your own first etc is disabled when I install Era 2.46
For the record I have tried installing them in various orders to see if that helps but it doesnt, and I used a clean Heroes Complete for all tries.
Hope on of the gurus, Bersy and Baratorch knows something as usual

From what I read, Baratorch is not interested to entirely rework his HD mod for wog, as there are many extra difficulties. Swap troops is already a mod for era, although not so complete as HD mod, but better than nothing. Advanced town portal features are not really needed because wog itself allows renaming towns so it is easy to navigate through custom names you can give.

Yes, the swaptroops is great, but on a XXL map with scroll lying everywere you are doomed when fighting on of AI´s great heroes; your backpack is full so you wont get all the artifacs. Moving them all in a single click is really nice if it was possible to arrange
And regarding the Townportal, its really not that "important", its just so very simple to use, and it doesnt require a keyboard to rename them etc. Just a very cool feature that I love

Nope. It was very handy in random maps, especially in big ones with many towns since you saw the picture of the town you'll portal to. Also, it looked so much better and the portal list modifying according to the way you list towns was also nice. (Popular towns on top.) I'm on OS right now, but the feature worked perfectly fine with Era 2.43 and Wog of it. Is it really gone now? Maybe he got some extensions turned off in HD settings. I don't remember noticing it vanish.

Wog has artificer, who buys or upgrades artefacts. Personally I never had full backpack, even on xxl, there is always something to exchange or sell. So far, transferring artefacts is not easy in wog, as equipped combos will provoke locked slot bug. Must use something else, not erm.

It works when I update the old gamefolder, but on the clean install, with all the newest files, its gone :/

Baratorch disabled all extensions for non-SoD executables. It's final decision because of troubles with WoG executables.

I understand, well if its not possible by Erm, I guess its nothing to do about it.
(Though I would even be happy if it was possible to choose to delete all artifacts and/or scrolls in backpack. That would solve it just as good since I always kill the windmill hero that gets the trash-artifacts. After all, its just scrolls that you most likely never will need after a while)

It is possible to make a mod deleting all artefacts one hero has, but I never saw why one would need it. Once the script runs, it will delete everything, or it is very unlikely one has only trash artefacts. If you manage to transfer all trash artefacts to one hero, it takes way more time than selling them at artificer or exchanging at altar.
Mods are useful when they simplify often used steps. Making a mod just because one has a strange playing style is not a priority.

Correct me if I´m wrong here but..artificer doesnt buy artefacts?
He only upgrade or change them for you?
Altar of Sacrifice do give you either xp or resource, depending on your town, right? I never use Artificer since it makes it easy to get your artefact that you want
And I would use that ability ( delete all ) like this;
Remove all artefacts in backpack that I NEED (would be few)to a windmill heroe and THEN use the delete all in my own backpack
Mostly it is just scrolls though, so if there were an option to choose delete all artefacts, delete scroll or delete all artefacts AND scroll, it would be even better.
