Hello,
i need some help. I have install WoG many months ago. running quite OK.
then i have installed HoL 3.2 ( latest version ) together with ERA.
i can not play the game any more, because the game srashes immidiately, i will encounter :
Ice messenger ( now some another blue monster)
Ra messenger ( titan?)
and some other.
every time the access violation comes, that e.g. angelshot.81M is missing.
can someone help me pls?

ERA and WOG crash
Hi all, downloaded Era 2 and wanted to play WOG - crashes immediately and I get:

My monitor is running on 1920x1080.
What you mean by "buy bigger screen"?
Where is HD mod? Have a link?
Does it work with Era II? WinXP is ok?

Installed HD mod from here

Hello,
I have the most wierd error ever.
I've played WoG last weekend (multiplayer game), and one of my unit in Dungeons have changed for Pikeman. See picture below.

I don't know, maybe I changed some strange settings in WoG, but it was the first time I've seen that situation. After 1st day of new week I bought pikeman, so it was not error in diplay or somethink like that.

wait 1 week or restart map//scenari

is there a fix "yet" for the wrong description of Jeddite's and Nagash's specialty? At least i havent found anything related.
p.s is there a way to get the original abilities back for them in era?

more then 8 secondary skills
In addition, i found a problem with more than 8 secondary skills display. During game session w/o save/load interruption, the skills are displayed and scrollable. Once i save the game and load it, i cant see more than 8 skills in the hero ui. The scrill-arrows are there but nothig happens when scrolling., only 8 skills are displayed.
this happens with and w/o hd mod.
in era mod manager, those mods are enabled
- wog revised
- xxl maps
- secondary skill scrolling
(and wog ofc)
"no secondary skill limit" is enabled for wog in plugin manager

My mod, Heroes Renovated fixes Jeddite and changes Nagash if I remember correctly, you can look at the content and see how it is done. I suggested to fix their specialty display in Wog Revised but it was declined because the mistakes were in the original game, a logic I still fail to understand today.

hcl, we need a saved game and the list of mods you use. But before, press F12 when you load save then try to scroll, if it works it means you loaded an older save without mods enabled.
artu, who you asked for? I don't recall this and I see no reason for no fixing it in wog revised. Or maybe, with all the details and mods, it was involuntary ignored.
@Edit: I didn't even know there was a problem with those 2 heroes, I started game, I see nothing wrong. btw, Heroes renovated mod crashes the game every time I try to start:

which means some specialty icon is not valid. or my win7 doesn't like artu's mods, will have a look.

It was actually you who said, that's the way people are used to it and Bersy said he would be coming up with a new minimalist Era that doesnt change anything at all but that didnt happen. It's like 5 minutes of work and we can do it even now if you're willing to, however it's been a while since I did any modding and I dont remember anything, besides, I'm stuck on bed with hernia on my back. You can use the templates in Heroes Renovated mod and transfer them to Wog Revised, it was quite a simple task.
Edit: I used to use it all the time on Win 7, must be conflicting with a new mod.
What's wrong with them two is, their specialty displays wrong in the start menu, that's fixed on my mod.

I am not a noob, or course I tested your mod alone with wog mod, and it crashes every time. It does not like heroes icons in data folder, so I put them in pac and now game ok. But before new release would be necessary that other people try it as it is now, just to see if it is my win7 the problem.
Can you upload you version with pcx in data here please, and have more people just testing the start (win7-8 required)?
Also I don't see what's wrong, Jeditte has right icon (town rebuild) with wog, with heroes renovated it has wrong (archer icon).

Oh yes, somebody else had the same problem on Windows 8 and we fixed it the same way you did, I remember now. Never heard of any problems on Win 7 though. I'm at granny's, laying in bed, will be back home around tuesday if all goes well wih this hernia thing. We'll handle that then if I'm not on a wheelchair
