I did, but same result, slow as hell and it crashes as soon as I pick H3 folder

I am having this problem with 2.66.

Only mods with English names are loaded.

Is there a way to make it support Chinese names like 2.46?

Same problem with 2.72.

Case 1: (amethyst plugin) Dataamethyst.cfg missing. If I move the file to the original h3 data folder, it works well.

Case 2: Cannot open DataScript_core_.sys.lua: No such file or directory

In ERA 2.72 my ingame cursor freezes, depending on how rapid I move the mouse. If I shake my mouse heavily then cursor position barely updates until i slow down my mouse movement. Tested in windows 7 64 bit, compatibility mode does not change anything. Lowering my mouse polling  rate fixes problem, but I would enjoy proper fix, rather than playing with weird mouse sensitivity.

Case1: It's matter of amethyst plugin - this one file (and perhaps creatures folder) is searched through the list of mods, and if not found checked in h3/data. Originally it checked only in main h3 data folder. I may fix it if I know how, but for now you are free to download sources of newest amethyst and add your mod to folder list, then compile. If you cannot I may add it for you later (once you provide folder name of the mod).

It seem more like an issue with the newest era. In 2.46 the plugin runs well. Era2.46 is able to find the file in the mod folder.

For now, I will go back to era2.46.

Setting the compatibility helps with the missing file problem.

The non-English mod problem remains.

And even after I change the mod name to English, there is still a problem. When I enable the Chinese Language Mod, the commander screen cannot load the texts properly. They all show 'service: the line is not found in the text resource'. But the right click message is fine.

I had same with my mod changing Comander descriptions. It has to have new lines in the translated/modded file to work with native dialogs mod/plugin (which is included in WoG mod)

If I want to increase the battle Walk animation, it is in the cranim.txt in /data correct?
You can do it ingame, but its too slow, and the mod Fast animation is waaay to fast.
I am upset with myself, since I totaly messed up my perfect installation were I think I had the customised cranim.txt

Anyone who knows the adjusted numbers?

You must use the cranim text from wog/data folder, then you will have to adjust numbers by yourself, until you are satisfied with results.

I hope we do not need this option in the future, but currently it's a solution, right.

I don't recall any substantial change, that could break ANSI compatibility, will study the problem, thought non-latin-1 characters are not portable between PCs for old software.

Currently znpc00.txt file was modified (new lines) and zcrexp.txt also. This may change in the future, but it was the fastest method for native dialogs author to write plugin.

I did it, used the cranim from Fast Battle Anim as a guide and came to conclusion that those settings times 3 would give a good speed. Times 4 is "normal" and that is, IMHO, a bit too slow

Can someone please help me with these new battlefields on wog :?

I got these skulls in every game like a wall in the middle when i play, and i can´t find on how to remove these skulls in the middle of the battlefield when you are in a fight.
