Actual MegaDragon and Sea Monster dwelling has been designed, just not released yet. The code exists already as NimoStar writes. Just lacks an animated design for a Mermaid Dwelling..

I think some dwellings are in the object pack for Karmakeld, which is compatible with the base game.

I don't have a link at hand, though.

Also, there are many objects so you need to look for them. I know there is at the very least a mermaid dwelling.

A mermaid dwelling, found where?

Yeah I haven't released those yet, but I could post some images and upload the dwellings for you.

I'll post them this weekend. Perhaps for the Mermaid dwelling you could look at H3 Siren for inspiration = like a mermaid on a rock or something to make it more distinctive and less like the Oasis. You could also consider making it a water/ocean objects instead of a land dwelling, as it'd make more sense to recruit Mermaid from the sea and not from a pond
I kinda like the idea how you used the MegaDragons horns for wooden branches. That inspireres me to make something like a wooden MegaDragon landscape object, but I would probably have cut off some of the left side of the Cliff Nest to make it less similar to the original dwelling and then perhaps make the head part stand out a bit more clearly. I don't think it's terrible. And then add a pair of eyes that would occasionally peek out of the cave.

Could you share those with me?

This topic is devasted by a lot off topic posts. Hard to find data codes. Write here if you have new code adress not with all H4 problems.
We must copy all data from this to separate topic. We dont need search in 100 threads and 2000 posts topic to find 5 posts with real data.

I havent included them in the objects package yet, as they werent finish when I last updated it.
You just need to edit the dwelling name in the hex, but I think you can use the Resource Editor for that, those 3 dwellings should've been added.

What are they called in the object pack so that I can find them quickly?

I wrote a method that scrapes that information so that I can add it to a config file, which is where that info gets populated in the drop down menus.

Sadly I don't know the filename. But difference should be little more than creature hex code?

When object is in editor/map/object palette, you can't read filename, and there are 1000+ in the list...

PS: Found it by searching by name

Ah, indeed Radmutant69 apparently made some, that he send me and which I added to the package. So to be clear, other dwellings more in the style of the original H4 art style, were made - I actually think they're based on some old Equilbris images I found, and THOSE hasn't been released yet, sorry for the mistakes there

Hey guys.

Has anyone found, or could find, the Undead Transformer offsets?

I know we have the necromancy offsets, but that can't change if the Undead Transformer replaces, say, Zombies instead of Skeletons and Mummies instead of Ghosts. That sort of thing would be very useful, both for balance and other reasons

I discovered something...

So, when editing necromancy, there are six creature values.



One each for basic, advanced, expert, master, and grandmaster Necromancy.

But not the first one.

So, what was this?

And the answer is...

Amulet of the Undertaker.

If used on an army with no necromancy skills, this potentially different creature is raised.

So technically, you could change Amulet of the Undertaker into  Horn-of-the-Abyss like artifact and make it raise whatever you want - like Evil Eyes, Mummies, or Pirates.

So now I'm considering what will it raise in my mod and if to edit the image.

That's an interesting find.

I decided the raising would be as follows:

(0) Amulet only - Gargoyles.

(1) Basic - Zombies. (they are slower than skeletons and have no useful ability)

(2) Advanced - Skeletons.

(3) Expert - Ghosts.

(4) Master - Mummies. (in my mod they have better abilities)

(5) Grandmaster - Vampires.
