@Az. Well I guess the quote was worded with more care than I thought. No one is immune to loneliness, I had just been reading studies of how damaging loneliness is to people. And I somehow felt it had the message of loneliness is a disease of the "bad people" or something, but it actually doesn't say that at all  My bad.

Oh, I'm not talking about my own experience. My roommate got friendzoned and he told me just how much it sucks.
I stated my opinion on being friendzoned in my previous post.
And I made a lot more than one friend today.

Print it out! 
Not all in one go of course, take something like 5-10 pages at a time, read through them, and when you're done print out the next 5-10 pages.
That way it won't seem that unpleasant.
Also I could add, it's analogous to liking ice cream, but dislike reaching for it.. unless you're prepared to be dependent on some stranger being good to you, you could also merely lift your arm and reach out..

Also, get an e-reader if You can't stand computer screens. You get the same benefit of lightweight, easily accessible ebooks, while being able to read on a screen that's at least as easy on the eyes as a traditional book.
