We need black and white guys, no? Pro-Russians are black, pro-EU are white. Some are even very white. This guy for example is one of the opposition leaders, firmly believing that Ukraine has recently been ruled by Russian-Jewish mafia. His party holds a deputy prime-minister position, prosecutor positions and positions in the defense ministry in the interim government. Apparently some people in Crimea didn't like that:

But they are mostly black, as you can imagine.
The majority of the protesters who overthrew Yanukovych are probably fairly normal people but let's add a liiiitle shade of grey to the situation, shall we? I know it's hard but you can make it. Most of you anyway.

Sounds like the problem is lack of freedom of speech, then. Assuming you're truthfully reporting what happened.
And I'm sure many people in dictatorships would be astonished to hear how they live under such an efficient government.

Kip is right lol, most of the leadership of the new Ukrainian illegitimate government is composed of fascists or those with fascist ties. Idk how well you guys are informed over yonder in the US, but here this is common knowledge. Here's one source that took me a few seconds to find, but I'm sure if you guys bother to do some research you might become disillusioned rather than start attacking kip.

South east Ukraine is more valuable than the north west. The north west wants their own government? Let them have it with a real separation. The world will not stop turning because Russia will have a better access to the black sea.
Sometimes when you pull the bed sheet too hard you fall off the bed with it.

They're not disillusioned, they're posting what is "politically correct" because if they don't the master negro will send up navy seals who are experts in killing civilians..

Yes, there are some neo-Nazis in the Ukrainian government, but I specifically asked for a source for Kip's claim that the Maidan leaders called for killing all the Russians in Ukraine.

I do not think anyone could have missed the fact that the protests had strong nationalistic elements in it and I doubt anyone believe that the new government is a beacon of light or even noticably better than the old one. Ukraine is still Ukraine even if one side is better or worse than the other. If I want or have to pick a side, then I am going to chose the one that appears to be the lightest grey, even if that grey is much darker than I would demand from my own people.

Yeah, seperation seems to be the only solution now. The ukrainian government needs to accept the fact that the country can't stay intact. Both sides can still get what they fundamentally wanted.

People who cry over "political correctness" tend to be the worst kind of selfish haters. Neo-nazis tend to absolutely WORSHIP political incorrectness so you would probably be surprised with how well you would get along with these Maidan-nazi-bandits.

also, when the bandits of maidown demanded a metric snow ton of things (membership in EU, head of yanukovych, tymoshenko freed etc) It was all ok. no one gave a snow about the position of Crimean autonomic republic citizens.
Now that Crimea is demanding independance from Ukraine, they're separatists, russian agents, sellouts and traitors. Again, double snowing standarts.
Also, what about that photoshopped photo of Crimean tatars published in Der Spiegel(They replaced it not a while ago), where there appears that some have three arms or so?

I'm all in for Crimean independence if that's backed by the majority. However, it isn't. Most people on Crimea want to live in an independent Ukraine with close ties to Russia. It seems Putin was expecting a secession though (since it was separtists he supported as the lead of the local government). Now that there isn't enough popular support for a secession, it seems like the plan is to somehow get Yanukovych back as president. That ain't going to happen and it seems more on more like this intervention is a failure for Putin. Russia has already been damaged both diplomatically and economically by this, with the only possible gain being that they have demonstrated to the West what they consider to be their sphere of influence.

Not sure why people think Jews are on top of things. Look at all the angry Muslims around Israel. They keep the foot hold in the middle east, and the US keeps them alive in exchange, literally.

Well, if they dont like it, they can always try to separate from Russia later on. Alliances are meant to be broken, and nothing lasts forever. Or maybe it wouldn't be that easy, but having kids brought up in Russia isn't as bad as having them brought up in Islam or whatever, and forcing them to waste 2 hours of their lives every day to prayers n stuff.
It would be best to remain independent for better leverage when dealing and trading, but hey, some people do funky stuff in their bed rooms, and that s not our business.

Western media is certainly not perfect and vary GREATLY between "western" countries. But it absolutely is better and more free than yours if it is as suppressed as you say. You are dumb to say that you hate free speech and then whine over how non-free your media is. You really deserve what you get then.
Obviously me, Xerox and Mvass do not think that the crimeans are traitors. The new ukrainian government would be wrong to force the crimeans to stay if the crimeans have a large majority that wants to become independant. Why? Perhaps because we DON'T see this in black and white...

If you can't publish whatever the snow you want, without someone saying "it's bad" or "it's wrong" then what kind of snowing freedom is this?
And besides, conventional warfare is a thing of the past. information war is the future as we see right now. the media which should be a tool for information is misused for a certain snowing agenda and the spread of disinformation and lies about what's really going on.
A little political joke from the times of the jolly Soviet Union to illustrate my point:
A victory day parade is being held in Moscow. Napoleon and his advisors had attended it. The advisors are in awe of soviet troops and vehicles. Napoleon reads the "Pravda".
one advisor says:
- If we had such troops, we would've been lost the Waterloo battle.

- If we had such artillery, we surely couldn't had lost at Waterloo

Well, journalism is often divided between the left and the right. Of course, what left and right means is different from country to country. It can often be resumed in : Left = we want more, we want better and Right = take what you got and shut up like a man.
What matters is the drive behind the people that falls in the Left category. If they got the drive to go out and fight, best keep your news channel in check and filter the information. But once you bombarded them with good living conditions and a beautiful left wing brainwash for a couple of generations, it's done. They are now house cats and you don't need to filter the information anymore. Get a left wing newspaper, a right wing newspaper, let them all know everything, it wont change snow anyways.! We in the west has reached that point.
Well, there are also people in power that keeps track of the information given by the news just for the feeling of power it provides. Not every country is ruled by equally intelligent people.

when something is being critized for "not being correct" which depicts a different POV than it' supposed to and it must not see the light of day. This is what I had in mind.
What about that russian journalist which the maidown bandits had killed? the guy was filming their true faces.
