Just putting this out there: no news is worst news. To unironically quote Zapp Brannigan: "With enemies, you know where they stand, but with neutrals, who knows?" Bad news (CURRENT bad news, not 'it sucked on release, therefore avoid forever') warns us to stay away. Good news (improvements we wanted) followed by extended silence leads to hope followed by waning hope. Of course those who WANT to like this game are going to be disheartened by the lack of updates.

There still are people who want to see this ride end well, so better get used to it instead of going all nuts about it  .
Either the devs keep their silence because they aim for some big reveal (whatever that could be), or because there is indeed nothing to share. That could be a good sign, a bad sign, anything. It can be both at once, we don't know.
If this truly is the end of the line, then so be it. As long as nothing is for certain, we shouldn't assume the worst.

Stevie, i can assure you, i do much in my daily life and i still do check up on the page from the game. Being intrested in how it will evolve or what they will lie about or what they will indeed deliver is by no means an indication someone has nothing better to do in his/her life.
Please refrain from being so impolite and aggresive. I do want to know what neutrals will enter the game, and how the skill system will change. I do believe in our modders and the work they do. And i do believe the game can be modded to be a good one despite its fundamental flaws.
The game as is now is not too much of a bother to me. I enjoy it and that's it. But i am a casual gamer that plays about 2-4 hours a week. For me, that i will not go to multiplayer or play in impossible difficulty the game is fine.
Will i buy the expansion? I will see depending on how much it is worth, what is fixed and what it delivers. That's why i care about news and info.

hey antalian just for the sake of discussion I was a bit curious about your new signature, why do you say "negative comments do not lead to positive things so love H7 or be silent" lol,
that's a bit of a fallacy to me mate, don't you think that is a bit problematic, if Heroes 7 is a game you really love don't you think that's owed to everyone who posted negative comments on Heroes 6 and got Erwin to abandon some bad aspects of his vision, leading to Heroes 7,
or for instance look at negative comments on DRM led to positive removal of DRM, negative comments on the crackhead Lich and Arthas Vampire led to improved models for the Lich and Vampire, negative comments on poor town screens led to improved town screens, negative comments on the skill wheel lead to slightly improved skill wheel, and so on,
in my opinion negative comments with fan lobbying have been the only thing causing anything significant to improve or change, positivity alone did not get us far as without the negativity they just do nothing and assume all is well,
also I think love H7 or be silent is quite a tough ask on a discussion forum, it personally reminds me of the Limbic mantra of "haters gonna hate", unfortunately I personally have no choice but to disregard that,
what do you think though mate, maybe there is more thinking behind it I dunno lol

As if moderators choose sides. We stand above such things. If you have issues with a specific moderator or moderation in general, contact a moderator to speak your grievances. Openly mocking moderators or questioning moderation decisions will draw attention for sure.

It's quite clear we have both people who enjoy and even love Heroes 7, as well as people who resent it. What does cross the line is provocations on either side. Those will not be tolerated and acted against by the moderators. well on my end mate I'm doing my best to have respect sincerely, I don't understand why try to divide the community into two factions of "they" and "us" to be honest,
that creates an uninteresting atmosphere, can we not be individuals and have a chat of personal philosophies without constantly being drawn into tit for tat and contrived gang wars, lol

I definitely did not want to be rude to anyone so first of all, apologise if you understood it in this (wrong) way, I considered it to be a hyperbole.
I hope it's better now 
But it is incredibly difficult to see daily negative comments (usually from several the same people) which indirectly offend all the people who like H7, comments like "nobody can really like H7" or "I really wonder how can someone like H7". This place is quite famous for being very negative about H7 generally but I think everyone should speak for themselves ONLY, not judging the other people.
The other negative, as well as positive comments are ok ofc because everyone has a full right to post their opinion.
Edit: I also don't think there has to be something like a fight with two sides against each other, after all, we ALL love Heroes games, that's why we are here. I think it is totally normal if different people like different games from this series.
But I am sure that if I dislike some game, it does not mean this game is bad (and vice versa).
