simple but yes. dictators all round the world, make use of this to be chosen again in polls. they put their image first to be chosen. this is not very different. same tactic.

why don't we throw in some dark dwarves while we're at it, and dark naga and orcs, we'll call it Heroes 7: The Color Purple
sorry lol but the dark elves always struck me as pretty random, like I mean why do only elves get to be dark

A good question indeed. Though there are enough fantasies that have Dark Dwarves as well.

That would be LIGHT Demons. Also, Light Necros might be fun - known as the "Docs".
But I agree with the original point - except that THE FIRST TIME everything is somewhat original.

i love the debth of dark elves. i don't like their story though.
all this talk about their tactics makes minotaurs more irrelevant to the faction, for me. but hey it's an old favorite, so screw everything else!
But i see some shadow priestesses as elites and a champion faceless there  also some grim whatevers! and these i do like. sounds very refreshing.

Well, we have Dark Demons already. Those alternative upgrades in H5 are pretty qualified for that, they just aren't called that way.

Final nail in the coffin for Trogs? Hardly, the way I interpreted that paragraph was that they will be up for vote in the creature line ups. That way there's an explanation if they're in the game, and an explanation as to why they might not be included. As for the reptile/fungus/minor elemental, it sounds to me as though they don't really have any ideas of which art direction to go, throw a couple of ideas out to the community and gauge the reaction they get.
Not impressed I didn't see anything about Hydras in there. That's my one "must have" for Dungeon. They've got tonnes of cool creatures to choose from, and a few more by the sounds of things, but I love me those Hydras

I feel this article tried really hard not to hint at too much and was more focused on dark elves as society. Just some flavor text nothing that could influence the poll.
I'm glad we got a confirmation on Troglodyte existence in Ashan, certainly makes them a possible dungeon or neutral unit.
They were quite iconic low tier creatures for me in the old universe.

Definitely sounds that way. Is unclear what can be taken seriously, trogs existence in Ashan, and what not to take seriously, trogs are mushroom people. Not the kind of misguiding info you need when making a faction vote. Especially considering the number of people that will interpret things wrong or take it all too literally. Will be interesting to see what we get from Inferno tomorrow

You know what was important to me from this article? Mention of grim stalkers, troglodytes, clans info - especially which one is focused on trade, spying, demon worshipping , etc. and who is Dark Elves leader now. And of course words about warfare but to be honest I didn't find there anything new or important, only acknowleagde of some facts - like elite beasts and Faceless (which we already have in H6).
In short: too many details in article and not enough more common lore. Just like in part 4 of 10 years war.
One question althrough - who is she? Tuidhana after she made a pact with Malassa?

Nah, Discover Dungeon was fine enough for me. And Tale of 10 years war part 4 was brilliant, I think Also, where did you find that picture?
