that's what they said in the gamestar article: "Jeder dieser Berater steht für eine Kampagne, sie erzählen also die Story der jeweiligen Fraktion, ohne aufeinander aufzubauen."
-> Each of these counselors stands for a campaign, which means that they tell the story of the representive faction without building on each other.
actually i find that an interesting concept so i'm not against it

Aaaaah best news ever, a while ago I was losing faith and wondered if the series was over...
Awesome for Academy being in the lineup and it looks fantastic, also yay for having to choose one champion unit! Surely Sylvan will win the vote and hopefully Dungeon over Inferno afterwards.
In the less positive side it's Haven and Necropolis again instead of Sanctuary that might be completely ignored and why drop a lot of changes from H6 and go back to older stuff? I liked town conversion for example. Nonlinear campaign means no elaborate story like H5-6 which might turn out better than some of the forced plot twist those games had.
And funny how Stronghold became a regular faction when it started out as a second expansion faction!

no chance, we've got to have Haven so we can tell the epic story of Stewie Griffin.
After all, it's just not a classic, addictive Heroes strategy game without the all-important Griffin family, lol

Inferno is cool and all, but with Dungeon being my favourite faction, I also hope they win this.
I also liked town conversion and I'm sad that it's gone, but I guess most people weren't to fond of it for whatever reason 
Apart from that the game sounds great so far and if the unit and "bug line-up" () is to my liking I'll definitely get it when it's out.

^Yes, as they did 6 factions in Heroes 4 and 5, while initially only 4 in Heroees 6.
It takes good eye to spot mirrored grunwald painting

That seems amazing, tbh. I'd prefer any new factions to be added through expansion packs rather than DLC. Well it seems I'm finally going to get my elves ANYWAY so I'm a happy camper ^__^

Heroes 6 had 5 vanilla factions.
Sylvan would be amazing. Definitely voted for the sorceress' comeback.
Also, stronghold looks like it will have female centaurs again, purely based on the trailer.
So wait, BOTH King and Romero are coming back? Didn't expect that. Nice.
Finally, I'd like to formally request the moderators to implement a "block" function. Emo was a notorious troll at Sucks and I find his presence here so polluting. Seriously dude, show some respect. Know the difference between a niche fan forum versus a free for all.
