That root snake is awesome! Also, emerald warriors are actually kind of cool, even though they don't ride lynxes.

Yeah sounds much more interesting than a wind dancer. I also hope they are female.

Deers look horrible, I certainly don't want that.
Root Snakes look surprisingly good, I could get to the point of liking them!
Emerald Knights are ok, although I'd rather have them mounted on something.

I'm just sic of all this now :-(
One side: tradition is on our side! Look at these 10+ years old facts, we could have done it then!
Other side: Well your tradition is old.. Look at these facts now it is like this. It has been ever since your tradition was scraped

I'm sad how this will affect the game. How the future votes will look like.
Why can't we just accept the opinion of others and leav it to the fate.

looks like the emerald knight is going to be a generic elf walker
unimaginative waste of a creature slot in my opinion, I would much rather have any other beast, but oh well

That's what you get when everyone believes their opinions are facts. In addition, everyone believes they know the best. Just read few threads here and mmh7 blog...
Instead discussing how to improve the game or how to get to the common ground (to understand both views and make a better suggestion), this has been transformed into competition and rivalry of egos and Christmas wish-list of spoiled brats who believe that H7 is made just for them and not for the community/other players...

but we aren't talking about including just one, we're talking about not needing three, lol
I would say having the elven hunters, druids and heroes who are in all of the lineups is more than enough

The Emerald Warriors design is exactly as I feared. Stripper armor....
This is the reason I prederred Blade Dancers even tho they are half naked.
The pixie seems fine, however the dryad needs work. A lot.
Not a spirit, more like part tree with bark and acorns and stuff. Anything but a spirit creature and I'll be okay with it.
My only bone to pick with the deer is that is should be larger than life. Big-ass-deer-with-big-ass-horns. Make me fear faceing that fluffer.

My thoughts on the units:
-Emerald knights look awesome.
-Pixies look cool, not brilliant, but they are alright.
-Dryad's look like a 1:1 copy paste of those H6 water spirits things but just covered in green. Re-do this unit from scratch or don't include it in the game at all.
-Root snakes look terrible.
-The previously posted Treant is amazing.

My opinions on the artworks :
-Pixie looks cool;
-Dryad looks ok, but somehow it feels just like the water elemental in Heroes 6, so I would like a change;
-Snakes look terribble, and feel terribble in Sylvan  ;
-Emerald Knights look pretty well, I would like them to be male and not female;
-Deers look quite bad (for me);
-I'm still waiting for a picture with the Green/Emerald Dragon (I think Sylvanna picture is irrelevant in this case, or it's just not enough).

Ok, here goes:
-Snake is awesome
-Pixie looks fun
-Dryad is just a recolored version from the Compendium, and that one was okay
-Emerald knight is good, better than I thought it would be when I learned it will not ride a lynx. I like the female variant more
-Stag is just to shiny, it looks like a unit straight from Heroes6 Haven
-I knew they will make green dragons similair to Sylanna. Not that it's bad, for a wingless dragon, at least

The only creature I like a bit is the Knight and its WoW copy. Even the armor is same as in Warcraft, just another colour. Seems like I will not play Sylvan anyway

The Pixie: looks very nice. But, then again, people that were complaining about the lore/consistency in the case of the Phoenix should be fair and say that also this creature does not look at all as it was in past installments (for instance in Heroes 5). I personally like it, but I admit that in general I would like Ubisoft to be consistent.
The snake: I had good expectation on the snake, I was envisioning it like a giant vine. A smaller size sandworm from Dune that entangles enemies. But the art seems to be going more for the snake as in the animal. I don't like it in this case. Add to this the fact that it's malicious...
Dryads: simply put, awful. It needs major redesign. It basically is the same as the water spirit from H6. 
Emerald knights: they look cool. But I still like more the concept in which they were riding the lynx.
Twilight stag: really awful. Does not inspire anything, it's just a dull/bland creature in the lineup. In my opinion this is even worse than the snakes as an overall concept. Unicorn would have been much better in any way possible.
Green Dragons: I like the concept. I would be prefer them to be a bit less stony, maybe a bit more "root-like".
Phoenix: no info was provided on the blog but Marzhin said they would be similar to the moon phoenix (maybe somewhat more silverish). As long as the Phoenix is not the Fire Bird this is fine for me. Here, as in other cases, there might be a problem with justifying the discrepancy with earlier installments in terms of lore.

funny how no one talks about cheating now that balance is leading after that fake post.
i wonder if certain members that found the rise of fury "unrealistic", or "the odds extremely unlikely", will think the same for balance.

Just one word: retcon. It happens everywhere. In terms of lore, H5 isn't considered as a viable source for a long time now - mostly in terms of visuals. But I must say that they try well to honor H5. We get a hint at flying Earth dragons, for example. And there're plenty of examples in other M&M games (like in Legacy, they even put a reference for H5's scenario map).
