I did say before, somewhere around here, that if people were to go on a spamming spree to campaign for one of the designs, I would go for something else. Yes, the Undead Sorcerer is a design I like (just like the other two), but now that I get to see the way it is being propagated....I'm like 'out with the snows and vote something else'. Which does not mean that I haven't seen other people shouting about as well.
It is a protest, you got that right. You can still convince me to return to my original vote, but do it in a constructive, well-argumented way. And I don't mind if the Undead Sorcerer wins, or the Mummy.
You call yourself poor and insignificant, I wouldn't go that far. You have been...present a lot on that blog and helped bring about changes, but there has to be a line somewhere. Okay, the necro-hate may have been justified, but now it should be enough. We were granted this vote, we have been heard. And now we are to choose WHAT WE WANT. Not what YOU want  .

Oh I'm such a bad guy, making fun of designs and concepts I consider dubious. What is hilarious is that it seems some people are offended by it. 
Or are you already too old and grumpy for these passionates impulses?
im not personally offended by anything, I just figured I would speak up while we are on the topic. Can't I just "express myself" without you jumping on me and calling me old?

The Undead Sorcerer looks a lot like its H5 counterpart which is a good thing continuity-wise, but that doesn't mean the other two aren't badass either (in my most humble and honest opinion, of course). The lich of H6, fleshy, different, was not a problem to me. I mean, so many hundreds of years ago they could have looked different, and only later turned skeletal for some reason. My first response when I saw it return in the original reveal wasn't immediately negative. However, seeing these new designs do spark in me the 'this is much better anyway'-feeling  .

If the Priest is a lesser choice, at least it's not by a long shot.
I mean, I was glad the website was down so I could spend a night thinking about it. I went for the Undead Sorcerer for its appearance, with staff and book, and overall familiarity. However, the Priest had grown on me too, but I could only choose one. I think they are close to equal rather than being 'lesser' or 'better'. Which is why I didn't go for the Mummy. Even though he's cool too, in my view he is definately a lesser one than the other two, although I wouldn't mind seeing him win. I just didn't vote for him.
That Priest needs a staff, though. That's one drawback and I hope he'll get one in the end.

Personally, I feel like Galaad is too self-righteous to give any solid arguments as to why his choice it the best option - he'll simply talk about how his preference is the only natural choice.

My two cents on this whole thing (to get away from the bickering)
I love the old factions because they are theme based. They seem to be going for this egyptain theme with necro and I like it. The TS has little pyramids and what not, we have a flying sphinx, and a mummy would have been a great addition. Improving the Egyptian theme with a lich-mummy hybrid seems like a better option. It also leaves room for new necro units in the future, assuming they add more elites and cores to pick from.
Reasons I did not pick the Sorcerer:
- only the face looks skeletal, looks more like a wraith from H3 with a hat and staff.
- Resembles the ghost/Banshee
- Still floating...what is the point of the magic carpet if all magic users can just float around?
Reasons I did not pick the Priest:
- Also floats
- Resembles the lower form of the abbot
- Doesn't seem to be undead

Personally, I liked how commanding the mummy looked. Almost as if it was ordering its undead servants to rip its enemies apart. ...Now I can't help but imagine Blood Monster as his sidekick xD
That being said, I also like the death-mask and the outfit.

Not undead? Maybe you should take another look at the model's face. It looks quite skeletal to me, but it's partially covered.
The Mummy wouldn't have a Blood Monster as his sidekick, he would raise them by the masses and send them to do their master's bidding  .

This is definitely a good thing but I don't like that it doesn't have legs. Which is why I compared it to the wraith. Skeleton lich is not the same as a ghost/wraith lich. Even with a skeletal face.
I suppose it would look most similar to the h5 lich (if not floating), which I wasn't a fan of.

I stand corrected, the face looks like a skull. But if that is the case, why cover it Still, the dark priest is my 2nd favorite.

Covering faces is a fashion statement in Ashan around the time of H7 .
I guess the Priest thinks that his eyes are terrifying enough and that weak mortals don't need to see his entire face  ...
