The mummy lich looks new, "fresh" and in line with the faction theme. Its not flying either, good design. Man this is tough...want the skeletal lich but the mummy bedazzled me.

while prefer and voted for the sorcerer i can't say i would object to the mummy. She clearly knows how to BOOGIE!

Uhh... Undead sorcerer will win, won't it? I mean, it is one of the best designs, but I hoped mummy would be chosen - nicely grounded, well-designed and a bit of fresh air.  We haven't seen mummies deigned this well in Might and Magic before.

1. The Priest of Death
Reading unholy scripture from the pages of some ancient Book of the Dead or Libram of Last Rites, this priest of Asha invokes the darkest aspect of his Goddess.
Hmm, I'm not very fond of religious units, but on the other hand the spider cult is at the peak of its power so a priest might be fitting. That said, necropolis has already enough religious nonsense with that obnoxious spider cult as it is.
2. The Undead Sorcerer
Having transcended the rules of Life and Death, this dark Wizard has forsaken flesh to the point of becoming a cadaver himself, in exchange of tremendous powers.
Just your regular H5 lich I guess. Probably not fully skeletal, but more decayed than the H6 one.
3. The Ancient Mummy
This Undead priest has been around since the early days of the Spider Cult. Only bandages and rituals keep his rotten body in one piece, and he hides his desiccated face under a mask.
Okay, so we have a large bunch of ancient liches just goofing around, waiting for you to call them to arms... I'm not buying that. Besides, wouldn't these be archliches already? Moreover, the ancient mummy appears to be a priest too
Design-wise I prefer the Priest of Death. Apart from being a real fresh look on the lich unit he has the least amount of obnoxious trinkets (imo that is), and those that he has can be explained by him being a priest. Also he actively uses a book of spells, which I really like. The lack of staff does not bother me one bit, as this spider-motif staff tends to be too top-heavy for my liking and is something the ubi designers tend to attach pointless chains to.
The other two should imo be non upgr. (sorcerer) and upgr. (mummy), as they are very similar design-wise.
Even though I do not like the idea of a priest I'm still drawn to option 1. over the boring standard lich or the only-suited-as-upgrade-and-still-a-priest mummy.

The thing I like about the Priest is that it has another layer of robes, rather than just from the waist down. And you can see his backbone through his chest. I would prefer it over Mummy for sure.

And besides. It would be no surprise to me if Undead sorcerer has flesh on his face just as before. Mummy atleast has a mask, so you can think whatever.

He floated tho. I hate floating part, specialy if he has leggs. If htere's no leggs, then floating is 100% guaranteed. Here. He has to walk.

He has to be flying unit.

Floating mummy is unlikely though, and it does seem like this kind of overlord, marching before its undead legions. I like it!

You couldn't see the legs of Liches in Heroes 5 either, and they didn't float. Besides, the floating part is not set in stone, so be sure that if people hate it they won't add it.

Voted Mummy since I already supported the idea. The Undead Sorcerer looks fine too but he is also floating and I dont like the idea of creatures who cant fly in the game, floating.

hooded "priest of death" looks like he is really into dark arts, so i voted him. also no staff just book, thats a fresh take. i want to see it in game.
