death & disease requires masks, face covers. necromancers in my mind tend to work with nasty stuff to understand and practice dark magic. so what the hell is this NO FACE COVER whining all about?
when you talk about regular humans, academy humans, haven heroes.. you have point in this arguement, good & clean folk doesnt need it. and by nature, they dont need to hide either. you are right there and you have my support.
but come on, when you say NO COVER BLALALALALAL to a lich, to a necromancer, you just dont make any sense at all. cultists, occultists, dark art experts... they are sinister & evil! you cant be evil by just saying bad things lol.

They are talking about looks, and in games your looks are about your IMAGE mostly, not function. Besides, I can hardly imagine germs would be your main concern when you are frigging undead and your organs are out in the open through your bones. Treating a fantasy creature like a nurse isnt exactly flawless logic.
Interesting results, I thought the priest was the least likely to win but he slowly climbed that hill, I guess.

with that cover he looks too much like the hero, he'd need a full visible skeletal face and a cool kris knife

as do i. my main goal is to point that face cover is not illogical in our situation. and as i stated earlier, glowing eyes in a hood, behind a cover etc works pretty much fine with "looks".

You're just inventing excuses as to why the face mask is there to begin with, rather than wondering why the heck it can't do without.
Personally, looking at a skeletal face is quite a heck lot more scary than looking at a face that's mostly hidden behind a mask.

According to the official news the Ancient Mummy indeed lost. What a shame, really. It could be a really good and fresh unit in the Necropolis town... Congratulations anyway for people who voted on the Priest of Death. 
Blood Monster won, so I can be cheered up with the fact one of my favorites won in this competition...

Obviously, you were talking about something that a veil is a pre-caution for, a wraith or a fireball would hardly qualify.

Removed this thing that covers Priest of Death face, made it skeletal and colored it to see what it could look like
PS: I drew cervical vertebrae by myself so if it looks nothing like it supposed to I'm sorry but it was my first time

Maybe the upgraded version will be unmasked. Though with the art direction, i see it going full on mask.
At the very least, i want the bones to be visible whenever possible. For example, if the head is skeletal, i wanna see the crevices of the eyes and in them the green light.
Do you think now we can ask for the Mummy as a neutral? I mean:
Haven: Griffin
Sylvan: Sea Elf
Can't we have the mummy as depicted in the artworks for vanilla?
