I agree, even a dessicated face or no face at all can be beautiful in its own unconventional way,
and any self-respecting Lich should be confident and take pride in his imposing appearance
you didn't see Sandro or Lord Haart or Moander or Gauldoth or Baron Von Tarkin try to hide their badass countenance (unless trying to trick people),
hell even the grotesque Orson and Vladimir in Heroes 5, who probably would have done us all a favour to consider wearing masks, couldn't be bothered lol

Naadir from Heroes V is the only one wearing a mask, ironically so, considering that he looks like he has a human face underneath it.

No heartbeat - check
These traits are what makes a vampire, not some childish gimmicks, like fear of garlic or cross symbols. So I see no validation in your argument.

Also, if Bram Stoker's original Dracula novel, while sunlight weakens the titular character a little bit, it doesn't kill him. That came later, from the movies I think.

Went for Undead Sorcerer. Seems like a safe bet. Albeit It would be nice if someone coloured them somewhat, cause it may be a trap.

I'm going to safely bet that Priest of Death would wear black robes, while Mummy looks like it'd be rotting, dark green.
Sorcerer? Might use necro!purple, blue and green, I can't tell.

Cold body, No hartbeat, and thirst for blood, can all be also atributed to a zombie. I have read original Dracula, and also Carmila, that came before that. I am aware, that most of other stuff was added later, as vampire genre developed in popularity... and in almost no case all of these atributes appear at once. But atleast some of them do. Stakes and fear of sun are almost always present, as well as bat transformation, or other kind of morphing ... like to more monstrous form.
As far as appearence goes. Vampire is supposed to be indistingushable from normal human ... almost. One of his basic abilities is that he or she blends into society, specialy upper classes. In Dracula, people around the count don't realize he's a vampire. He's a bit odd, but that's it. A lot of rich people are realy weird. Some even like spiders.
And that's the core issue I suppose. Spiders and Vampires have realy nothing in common.
So to recap. A proper Vampire on battlefield would look like a dark knight, that has maybe ability to turn into bat, OR have 2 forms. A human aristocrat form, that is weak ... maybe wields a rapier, and bestial form that can do lots of damage and flys.

well come on now, it's very very subjective what makes a vampire, there are tens and tens of contradictory (and sometimes self-contradictory) mythological influences behind them,
however I am sure the last thing most people think of when they hear "vampire" is a guy who drank spider venom, turned into a lich and then magically aged backwards to regrow all his flesh lol
the Sumerian/Mesopotamian blood drinkers were actually pretty cool though, so if they would borrow a bit more from those source legends instead of making up this weird ass backstory of their own fixated on spiders (and Arthas, minor deity of the Azerothian culture in North American mythology lol), that wouldn't be bad
