Out of curiosity, how did you create the new classes? I know of the hero class file in reference tables but there is no mention of faction affiliation there.

Just one more question right now: how about the Artefacts in  the Scripts file? Are their names and decriptions the same as in Artifacts file?

@Elvin: this required hex-editing as well, but classes are not tied to factions, the heroes are.

@Antalyan: I think I understand your issue, the spec desc are copied in the same folder they were originally located, since freyda spec is copied from fortress it is in the dwarves folder.

Magnomagus, I'd like to know if it's in any way possible to mod the replay feature to also save the battle chat and have the real-time ATB positions instead of the fixed ones like we do now. It would help tremendously with duel tournaments and stuff (not necessarily for H5.5).

@Magnomagus - if the classes are not tied to faction, but to heroes is it possible to make normal class heroes that can cast spells and give them bloodrage and move that kind of heroes into the Stronghold somehow ?

I must condemn Magnomagus, for rendering the A.I. absolutely impossible to defeat.

Even at normal difficulty, it cheats beyond anyone's imagination.

As of now, I must revert the game to its original state and search for my smaller and, way better mods that I used to use for several years.

To think I thought that your mod was to become a huge success. Yeah, well, ok, maybe in between human players via multiplayer.

The AI players avoids themselves and, simply waits for the human player to think that it is ready to start its own run of invasions of the AI players. That's right, the AIs do not even attack or even considers themselves enemies, it feels like there's an AI coalition against the human player.

That is the third game with huge upsets like that. An army of over 400 soldiers simply being pulverized like as if the effects of the hero were totally nullified(level 11 hero on the 1st week of the second month).

The visiting hero the town still acts as if it is the town's garrison army. I think that all of your fixes were all destined for pre-made maps only.

@Stevie: No, the replay feature is certainly hard-coded.

@devilfire: There will be hard-coded issues, to start of: you cannot add a mage guild.

@Magnomagus with the new magic skills that gives spells they don`t need it that much. SO, what else is an issue except the mage guild ? All in all can it be done - normal heroes with bloodrage that use spells, instead of warcries (or its both?)?

Hi, long time fan of heroes V here and have come across your mod and have loved it so far. Just some issues I have come across and don't know how to fix.

I'm playing with the utility version with a friend over lan mode and everything has worked fine, until the recent game we played. It's a 2v2v2 game with AI for 4 of the players. 2 Human players. A short while through my game crashes on oranges turn (stronghold). This happens everytime even after restarting the game.

Reading through this thread I came across this command console command @EnableHeroAI("heroname",nil) . I'm not sure how would I use this as I'm unable to see the hero that orange (stronghold) has. It's a crash to desktop everytime that ai has its turn.

Also another issue I have had is with the map editor creating a rmg map. I can't seem to make a 3v3 map or even 4v4. I can make 2v2v2 or 2v2v2v2 but not those settings. If i do so, the game becomes bugged in LAN mode as it comes up saying 3v3v1v1 or 4v4v1v1v1v1. I don't know if this is a template issue or what, but the extra players added have this weird code http://imgur.com/8DwhJYl. If I try to turn those players off its a CTD.

Other than that, fantastic mod. I was amazed to find I could play all 3 games campaigns as well.

@devilfire: It might be possible, but hard to see all factors involved without lots of trial & error and testing.

@Oodle: You need the internal name of the hero involved to use that command, I wonder if you might know the crashing hero is visiting an artifact merchant or town with artifact merchant?

Do you use the map properties tree for setting up the teams?

Also use: @H55_NoFog(x) to reveal the map, where x is your player number.

I don't know if they're visiting an artifact merchant, it's possible but its a lan mode game so I'd be unable to freeze the enemy hero anyway?

I use map properties to set up teams, not map properties teams.

The old Ai has never been extensively tested with all the changes, because 98% of the players don't seem to use it. you are actually the first to bring one up. there may be issues I don't know about which are hard to track down.

I have often had trouble with team settings in map properties (not H55 issue), I recommend using the tree instead.

But I see no Freyda in dwarves folder in heroes?
Also the in-game text for Freyda class seems not to be modified at all, without class text (in any language).

Class+Spec are now combined in the name file to circumvent hardcoded issue, example check:

Nope, the Ai is sylvan, stronghold and fortress.

If it's artifact merchants that bug out the AI, I can always go into editor, do select all on artifact merchants and delete them all at once.

No, if there were no academy and dungeon towns, then it was very unlikely the issue I was thinking off, at least I'm glad that issue is solved.

Since it was in LAN it was still most likely a sync issue.
