I have found these files (I have actually already translated them) but it did not help. However I found out that this issue is related only personally to Freyda, some other heroes specializations descriptions I tried work. What's more, I discovered that even using the original MMH55 text file (without the translated ones), Freyda's specialization description is the original one from HoF and not the H5.5 one. Do you have any idea what the problem could be? Also, could you please try to run your version of the game - HoF campaign - the beginning of mission 1 in H5.5? I would like to know if this is the general issue or the issues related only to my version of the game.

The campaign hero from HOF is actually an entirely different hero with different ID, it does have the vessel of elrath ability which is properly translated in H5.5, the txt files must be in the original game files.

And this hero uses the original specialization or the changed one from H5.5? I mean, is this only wrong description of specialization (=not valid any more) or does the ability work as in original HoH campaign?
I can change the original texts if neccessary but first of all I need to know this.

Also, do you know about any other campaign hero with similar issue?

Speaking of non-campaign Freyda, there is no "Bloodlust" spell in HoMM5, the spell she has a chance to cast is Righteous Might.

And, it says that it is too late to reconsider this mod of yours until you completely rework the AI of it.

I just got told that Quantomas is the one that finalized the A.I. that you used to make this thorough mod with. So...Any way of getting Mr. Q at doing some rework onto it all? Just asking, Magno.(Information given to me via the russian guy that is in charge of the Facebook's HoMM 5.5 Tavern)

Maybe if I get to read much later on that you succeeded at doing just so, I might reconsider re-modding my current installation to H5.5.

In the mean time, good luck!

First of all, thank you for all the hard work you are putting into this mod. I have a few problems and was wondering if someone can help.

When I generate a map using ARMG, I get quite a few artifacts like these (http://imgur.com/gGJhGSJ), which when picked up show a text something like: "this artifact cannot be picked up", or something in those lines and then just disappears. Also, theres this default icon and artifact shows no text if right clicked.

Then, there are not many, but a few stacks that just make the game crash. After you engage them, and the fight is over, game just instantly crashes. As far as appearance goes, they look like every other creature stack in the game, guarding random resources or artifacts.

I have tried generating quite a few maps, and these issues are common in all of them. I have mapscript activated, and I'm using all the right .exe files, although since I'm only playing LAN (hamachi) with a friend, we are both using H55_64_pest.exe

And lastly, I cannot seem to get to activate town management. It only shows up on my main character, and when clicked does nothing. In, outside or near town.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Alvis,

The issues you have are probably due to overlapping mods or incorrect game installation.

Please check the options below:
1. Check this guide. Make sure you have installed the game and the mod the way it is described there.

2. Make sure in <game folder>/maps you dont have other maps which have additional scripts which may interfere with HoMM5.5 scripts.

3. Before creating multiplayer game, make sure you and your opponent have cleaned your installments of temporary files and customized the game accordingly. More regarding this you can find in this article.

4. Last but not least try playing LAN game with the normal 64 bit exe. Let us know if you experience similar issues there.

Is RC6 the only RC that brings changes to units/creatures? If older RC's also do this, is there a full text list of all creature/unit changed made by 5.5 up to current version?

Because when I start the HoF campaign in MMH5.5, Freyda has no class in her description (unlike Laszlo or for example Isabel). So I am confused, asking what to do for translation?

1. Let it be without any special translation, then the description of class will be missing.
2. Add somehow to the original texts Freyda's class
3. Something else?

I apologise if I am sometimes quite slow-witted

First, I am Bulgarian, not Russian.
Second, Q is not directly involved in this mod so unless he makes his mind and decides to do it, we cant do anything to make him.
Third, please.... for anybody sake.... when you want to say something just kindly add a new reply and do not edit your last one.

UIcat, you can find 95% of the changed creatures over here. Scroll down and you will see albums divided by Faction. Each faction album includes all changes whatsoever  
made by the mod up to RC6. Each Magic school album consists of all changes whatsoever made to magic schools up to RC6.

Your complaint about the AI was that it is too hard even without cheating, but Quantomas intention is only to make it smarter, which means harder. Not what you wanted to hear, but you are one of very few people who want to move in the opposite direction.

Besides H5.5 can still be played with the old AI using utility.exe, but that AI always cheats.

My best advise to you would not to use utility.exe but to play larger maps, giving you more time to prepare before the AI arrives, also play multiple oppononts so they fight with each other weakening each other.

@dredknight: The referencial word "you" was meant for Magnomagus and not yourself.

Second: I fully understand that the A.I. has been developed and tweaked numerous times up to version 1.31j. Was asking if it would be possible to recall this person back onto its redevelopment of it(modded AI)all.

Third: The Russian person in charge of the Facebook page of HoMM 5.5 is called: Jordon Kostov. Not you, silly.

Fourth: You are just an helper to Magnomagus on to this ongoing project. So, try to relax a little bit, here.
