Is it possible for one of the mods to put Official Movie Thread (Tavern) and Favorite TV Series (OSM) both in the same section, wether it is the Tavern or the OSM? As it is, I search for both in the wrong place sometimes.

Technically these both belong in the OSM. However I am unable to move anything FROM the Tavern into the OSM, so until either Shyranis or Elvin comes along.....

How about a go to bottom button at the top of the page and a go to top button at the bottom?
I keep on scrolling down to read the latest comments and scrolling up to click the home button.

Page Up/Down are also very useful when you search for a certain post without goind to the very end/start of the page.
Another advice is to ctrl-Tab in order to browse through different tabs, saves a lot of time

Taken from the HCM messenger thread:
Sal said: While I have no doubts about the importance of keeping private messages 60 days instead of 30, I would like to bring to the administrator attention that the system which prohibits the modifications in >1 yo thread is penalizing the mods forums, notably the Heroes 3.5 forum, with WoG and VCMI mods being on dead links right now.
Calling a moderator and asking to update IS NOT a valid option, as such complex game modifications need special combinations of advertising screens, codes and links, so often the moderators can only botch the job. A solution was asked years ago via moderators, not sure if it reached destination, anyway I try here, thanks.

I had the same problem with some threads in DD forum, and will probably have it in H7 forum in about a year.
radar said: I second that, I'm currently having trouble with H5 mods that haven't been put up on HC filespace. Most links are dead in the old threads I wanted to check out.

sal has a point. having to petition the mods to update our own links is inefficient, and it makes things harder on the newbies, who end up asking for working links. the mods have enough work as it is. well, some of them, anyway.

I was thinking about a mention feature, much like on Facebook or Twitter.
The concept is that you can tag a user in a post. Since linking to individual posts is now possible, you could get notified about someone having tagged you in a specific thread with, ideally, a system-generated instant HCM message or eventually an e-mail.
We often refer to one another in various HC discussions, games, and even spamming. In my opinion such a feature could make a nice upgrade (or addition) to the e-mail notifications concerning replies to one's thread which has never been that popular or specific.
