As i said, i didn't care if it got rated, and that wasn't the only problem, the problem was that because we didn't want to disagree with a MOD about something, we couldn't reply in tossers tavern.

Please don't be mean if the taverns thing is already settled, but I see no reason at all to mr. Stiven's behavior.
As if Tossers' was the first thread where a bunch of people were talking nonsense and joking in a drinkingplace theme. There was a hell of a lot of other tavern threads before, and you have no right of claiming that the Downtown Tavern thread is a ripoff of Tossers'. More like you're both copying Kuma's

it has been rated, and lets just forget this, we'r not getting anywhere witht he discussion anyway. Besides, it wasnt really a problem, i dont know why it got mentioned, i just spoke up for the tavern.

Personally, I'm a bit afraid of all this.. but I'm willing to see how it goes and try to be as supportive as I can 
My concern is mainly that I'm feeling a bit like I have to walk on eggshells while I'm here now... I really enjoyed the freedom before of feeling like I could say whatever I wanted to say as long as I follow some simple guidelines. Now I'm hoping that all these new changes mean simply that - we can say whatever we want so long as its within the CoC. My fear tho, is that political correctness and the thought police might be rearing their ugly heads in here... I like tongue in cheek humor, and I like throwing and taking shots with my friends and I hope that isn't going to become something I have to be wary of now.
Tossers Tavern vs The Downtown Tavern:
What the heck is going on? I mean, at the risk of directly insulting anyone this whole debate is the stupidest lot of drivel I've seen in some time (and lemme tell ya, I'm no stranger to drivel)
As a "tosser" I can say that I have no problem with any member coming in and posting ever. I will admit I have a problem with spam, I have a problem with 5 pages of drooling over some kid i'm never gonna see anyways - but I had no problem with anyone that's in the "Downtown Tavern" posting at Tosser's Tavern - ever. I was sad to see Mighty Mage post that he was kicked out, or unwelcome or whatever the wording was - cuz on the record Mighty Mage I think you're alright, I enjoy your sense of humour and you've made some great posts.
heres the thing with Tosser's Tavern that maybe you guys don't get - WE JOKE AROUND!!! example Gorman: we kick him out all the time, he comes back - we post we laugh and it's all good, I don't seriously want him to stop coming, I think he's funny, he gets tossed and he tosses back and thats what its about. Those of you who took everything literally , well sorry i guess, no I'm not really - cuz I for one was never serious. It's all in fun.
Here's a recap - I dont actually believe that dingo is a 500 pound dancing freako in a red thong. I don't actually believe that Aculias runs around in a pink thong, nor do I believe that he is passionately attracted to Dingo. I don't even think that Gorman wears a pink thong - well maybe... and if he does well I don't really care anyways, so long as there's no pictures
The Bottom Line:
As for all these new concerns, and little wars i think its gotten ridiculous already. Everyone needs to just stop being so bloody uptight and have some fun. How to fix the HC? What's my suggestion? RESPECT! Respect this board and its guidelines, respect Valeri for creating it for us and asking only that we follow some really simple rules in return and RESPECT EACH OTHER! You don't have to all like each other, you don't have to agree with each other all the time - but you should always treat everyone else here with respect. Do that, and there should be no more problems at all. Period.

You and ruby posted frequently about nothing. And to be a frequent poster you need to be a tosser. We offered you the trials and you declined.
And as pandora says (really well btw) gorman has been "kicked out" more times than aculias has grammar mistakes in his post... (well almost then ) and its fun to see an input from him every now and then. Same as mightytoss.. i hope he doesnt feel he has been pushed out because he havent. I enjoy his humour aswell and an input from him every now and then is also ok.
But what is not ok is when you talk to place down about some ryan and ghetto that no one in TT knows anything about. Talk like that makes it lose its character because then it turn into a spamfest instead of for a group here an interesting place where you can joke around.
And as pan also say, problem with these thread CoC:s can be that we will have a thought and word restriction. Sure i can understand that rules are there to be followed.
But if you cant use words such as n00b or wannabe there will be no message board soon enough.
Recommendations are ok as far as im concerned, lots of restrictions isnt and thats what will happend soon enough if the thread CoC talk goes through.
Id say keep it the way it is.
The freedom of speach is a big reason why many of us find this msg board still interesting.
If there are any occational threads which wants certain criterias then they can be pointed out in beginning of thread.
Leave the rest to be.

uhm... okay, so you said no replies... but you had to know better than to really expect none
I am sorry that you're so upset, my post was not intended to upset you, or anyone else for that matter. In fact, it really had nothing to do with anything you posted. It was simply an attempt to express my opinions on a few subjects. It seemed to me that there were some misunderstandings and bruised feelings, I was trying to clarify some of the misconceptions held by those that felt "unwelcome" at Tossers Tavern. I have no bad feeling towards you, or any of your friends.
Have fun and take care.
Now lets try to get this thread to keep on topic.
