well, i agree and don't agree with that... i think in the tavern its harder to be so cut and dry. Its not like say the other side, or library where a little silliness can ruin a thread - sometimes in here threads are made better by people adding to em with some humour.
i do agree the thread CoC could work to an extent, but the tavern is a place to have some ale and let your hair down, i don't think being too rigid is the answer either.

Well it could work for certain threads, for eg - Sir_Stiven requested that his Wanted:Girl/Guy threads that they be kept free of Spam and other comments.
But even then you got people complaining - 'how dare he' say that they can't post in the thread etc.
But if we set out to introduce Thread CoC's, I don't think they apply to EVERY thread. If I post a thread with a few jokes in it, and request that others reply with their own jokes - I'll not be complaining if someone posts to say - I really like these funny jokes.

Then the COC for the jokes thread would be something like this.
Thread COC: Post funny jokes with punchlines. Feedback on jokes is accepted. Habitual posts of one-liners expressing laughter or enjoyment of the posts is not acceptible.
Edit: This is like two or three lines. And it is up to the community to decide what sort of posting they want in a thread. So if the community wants a laid back attitude in a thread then it's cut-clear and dry. No arguements. Everyone will know by looking at the end of the first post.

Dude pretty much everyone follows the rules,everythang is fine, do your job & dont brag about you doing it because we see whats going on.
This is a place for the people,you dont have to act like the police in here.
Everythangs fine,if we have any feedback for any of the mods in here then well post them.
For yrs after Andi & them all left it's been fine.

Didnt wanna bring that one up myself.
Also for the Tossers tavern spamming i did alert a moderator about it so no need for me to wrinkle nose 
To me all this talk about thread COC:s is getting alittle out of hand. Simplify: If the threadstarter has a special purpose with a thread that should limit it participants then write that and ask a moderator to help out.
A COC for each thread will IMO just limit most threads in tavern up as im sure you will eventually see "this thread cant be posted in by bla bla bla" etc.
We dont want that.
I think system as it is now is good, and if you have any special requests then put em forward. Shouldnt have to be anymore difficult than that IMO.

Now what I want is some of the MODs rate the tavern somethink like ZZZZzzzz, as the other spam threads. The Down Town Tavern deserves it. As it isnot funny for the MODs (which therefore don`t post there), it seems funny for the ones who do this.

if the spam tavern is to recieve any rating then it should be "wannabe"
because it seems to be a tossers tavern wannabe thread, just worser jokes and more boring people

It seems you 2 guys don't understand english. If you haven't read it says something like stay out of this, non of you bussiness and everything else.You are always so smart, that you believe that you have the brain of a thousand guys so you think: "Why need all this new members?!" Well better reconsider your position cause I believe you forget your days when you also been new.
So ending this post, I consider this one to be another complain to the Spam of 1 of the members on a thread that's said to have no spam, by beeing an official complain thread.

Guys, is there a need for this hostility?
Sir_Stiven and all the 'tossers'.
You got what you wanted, Ruby et. al stopped posting in TT. There was a big bust up and people got quite annoyed over it, can't you guys let up?
The have their own tavern now, and if anything you should feel a kind of misplaced pride that they called it 'Tavern' at all.
They saw a bunch of people having fun and just wanted to join in.
Now that they've got their own place to chat about Ryan or whoever you should be happy and get off their cases.
And Shai-Hulud, it's not just MODS that can rate threads as far as I know, if a member has enough Qp's they can rate the thread too. Concentrate on being a good member and earning Qp's if you want your thread rated.
And remember, MODS are members too, and if they don't want to post in DTT then they shouldn't have to, unless you guys are breaching the CoC, which I don't think you are, cos I've read some of the posts.
 Come on guys, can't we all get along?

Xarfax and Sir_Stiven, Please refrain from tossing. This is a place for serious input. Stop putting others down for your own enjoyment and ego. This is not something new. It has been going on since the beginning of HC and it is why Andi and Motor are now banned. If you want to toss someone, then do it in another thread. People have the right to petition without being bashed.

Well i made The Down Town Tavern for a reason:
I saw that people were enjoying themselves in Tossers Tavern, and i wanted to join the fun, and so did ruby, but we were always put down for our posts, and Sir_Stiven always had some funny remark, that really only enjoyed his own humor. Then Dragon_Slayers said "Go amke your own tavern" .. And so i did, and we've been having fun there ever since. Maybe you think we spam, and we arent funny, but really, i dont care, you're humor is so pale and annoying, that only you, and some close friends might think its funny. And xar, please just stop that, i didnt see anyone writing "haha", so you really MUST think your funny, because no one else does(maybe a few good friends whos gotten used to this humor)
You call what we do spam. We don't. I call what you do spam, but i haven't mentioned it because there wasnt a need for it, but still you kept on BS'ing everything we do or say, and i've had enough of it, i dont understand that you can have so many QP's, because you're a bad mannered ill tempered pale humorless .. thing. And you guys always put Consis down, but he's one of the best posters in here, he does some research, and says he's oppinion, without having to talk ill about anyone, anyone at all.
And to the Mod's, you dont have to give it a rating, we'll do just fine without it. Aslong as we have our laughs and our discussions we'll be just fine, thankyou for your time.

first of all that still wasnt a toss. They were facts, if you just check a page from the other tavern you cant be mistaken which thread they are taking after.
Second of all, you first cant say that we were enjoying ourselves and wanted to be a part of it and then slam me and the quality as a whole in tossers tavern tossdeal.
Doesnt make any sense whatsoever.
Speak the truth instead, you got pissed of the fact that you got tossed in TT and in a library thread by me among others. And now youre trying to get back. Boring.
And so you wont be mistaken, this is also not a toss. These are facts too.
I guess you can call it a dispute of making the other tavern labeled as "funny". Tossers Tavern are one of the greatest threads in HC history. It deserves its funny rating because it is one of the funniest threads around (even if tossdeal now disagrees when he has been kicked out of it more or less, but before that he was one of the most active posters there.. draw your own conclusions).
Making a wannabe thread doesnt make it funny too, it makes it a wannabe thread as i pointed out in my previous post.
"funny" is problably the best rating a tavern thread can get, so it shouldnt just be given out to any thread.
so there.

As i said, i didn't care if we got labeled, if you noticed? and yes i liked Tossers Tavern very much, but i got kicked out, i got the advice to start my own, and i did, and as you can see many people came, so there must be something about it.
And i'm not getting back at you, i have no reason for that, at one point i actually thought you were funny, but when you get slammed out, everything doesn't seem so funny afterall. And you can toss me all you want, i wouldn't care about that anyway.

Okay.. This is becoming anoying. You seems not to get it. I didn't talked to RealDeal nor Ruby about this thing, so if you want to pick on somebody, do it on me. Also I really don't care about your opinion.Complaint post will be deleted and next time when I will have a complaint I'll use the IM method.
Also I have a simple request. Let's don'y make our relationship a living hell, cause I'll be staying around for at least 2 more years. You seem to be very, very little diplomatic so it shouldn't be hard to make you curse me or break to CoC. Simply I have an uncanny ability making people get on their nerves really fast( sensed that haven't you?).So this is like the first and the last time when I'll back off from a conflict with you. It seems that all the other members you have been mocking around let you get easy. Well I usally don't( see you got me in a wrong period, beeing very nevous.)
Hope will have a good relationship from now one...
