What do you think about thread/board commercial?
I do not agree at all with anyone trying only to take members away from HC. In example when a post is made saying that this forum is so much better, go here - I think its wrong. Expect that any threads opened like this will be moved to the wastelands, they do nothing to contribute here.
I have no problem with linking tho, when its a means of sharing something that's funny , or that you think other members would enjoy.
What do you think about spam, do we have a spam problem here?
sure there's a spam problem, its existed for some time in here - and i think all the tavern mods are committed to putting a stop to it.
Is there favoritism?
if not, do you think this can scare mods from giving bonuses/penalties?
In my case, It won't. But i don't expect to be giving all that many bonuses, top 2% remember.
How do you think they can act to be more fair in other peoples eyes too?
This is a terrific question! I hope that many members answer - I'm looking forward to seeing their responses.
Do you think POTM should be reintroduced?
difficult... its an interesting idea, but i think it almost forces Mods to look for things that may not be there, I have seen months go by where i haven't really thought anything was especially impressive - would be hard in these cases to award someone, and i wouldnt want to award anyone for being the best of the mediocre.
What do you think about the moderators?
I think we have a good bunch here, all commited to making improvements in the tavern, just give us a chance to do it  That pandora chick is a bit too wordy tho

Dont get me wrong Pandora, I dont care about QP,if i did care about those points I would of tried alot harder to get them.
What I am trying to say is I think Mods give QP to certain people in the tavern because of how old they are in this place or how popular they have begun.
I was posting my previous reply to keep it nuetral at all cost.
Yes I think Sox is over modding this whole tavern.
I think hes getting way to carried away in his power trip.
It's like living at my parents house.
This should be a free care pleasant case, not some kind of prison.
Yes I been attacking Sox because i think he needs to hear someone tell him what they think.
It is true, almost half the community agree with me that Sox was (Getting Better) Power hungry, but I was the only one who actually said somethang.
Sox also said he would retire from the tavern once there was some reliable mods to help out & I think you Pandora & Asmodean can handle it.
This place dont need to be overmodded, it's the tavern where everyone can have fun & do what they like under the rules.
I feel that the group in DTT felt left out because of how they were treated in the TT & they wanted thier own tavern to chat in even if no one cared to look in it & Sox took it away from them.
Personally I think Sox would make a great mod in a more serious Forum like The Other Side of The Monitor or Tribunal but not the tavern.
Thats my opinion, & if yalls dont like how I dont talk in riddles anymore then sorry.

Here is another reason why i got upset about it.
1 Reason why it was put in to the wastelands:
Most People Didn't Think It Funny.
I'd like to answer up on that. Hmm, sure most people didn't think it funny, did it seem like the posters in there seemed to care? They thought it was funny, and that should be enough, you can't force everyone to post everywhere.
And you can't just throw it away because you don't think it's funny, because some people just have different ideas of humour, and because everyone Doesn't share you're taste, you can't just dimiss it.
Another reason why it was thrown away:
To much cursing.
This is obviously a big problem here in HC. If every thread that was cursed in was thrown away, there would be much lesser threads. Maybe we cursed a little xtra, but that shouldn't be = boot.
Then you say "it might scare newcommers" Well, seeing people kicked out of a tavern isn't nice either, or seeing people lose the place that they had the most fun in.
Another reason:
Few posters in the thread.
If you'd kinly look through the thread, we are actually a lot of people. Maybe not millions, or maybe not as much as every thread in the community, but we are NOT few.
Here's my guess.
The Mod's didn't think the Thread was funny. -1
They didn't post in it themselves. -1
They didn't share the humour. -1
The group was mostly new people. -1
Lets take tossers tavern, another kind of humour.
The Mod's thought the thread was funny. +1
They do post in it themselves. +1
They shared the humour. +1
They group is old known members. +1
Both posts are friends which post with eachother with some humour.
Then you say:
But you're post is also full with boring babble.
Well, this is an easy one. There was talk about a lot of girls in TT which i didn't know about. Which means, i didn't care. Did i dismiss the place of that reason? No.
And by the way, this IS NOT an attack against TT. I don't mind the posters there, and i also think that they are funny(that's why i wanted to join them at the start.
And if you have noticed, the post count is almost at a standstill since we got launched into VW. Thankyou for ruining yet another place that we enjoyed ourselves in. Next step: Lets make it banworthy of people say "LoL" or seem like they are enjoying themselves, or, better yet! We could get all mad and start banning people! ..

Don't know why, but in the late time you've changed, like you want everybodt to get a -QP, not for the good of this community. You always put in front one line posts, without any arguments, but you have big requests. I saw( don't know for sure) your second -QP request. Also I believe you should try to improve your quality outside the VW. I've seen to many of your posts, ruining a whole debate and stoping the thread to have serious disscusion, by encouraging others to do the same. Let me give you some simple examples.
The thread Americans and ignorance... The first thing you said in that thread was :" What happened to my Hate Turkey thread?". Also the next 2 were one line posts with no real topic. I was upset beacuse
Next example.
The Barbarians are coming. Quite a good thread. But in that post you said one simple thing: "Just the name,"The Barbarians Are Coming." Makes it sound like a comedy." It seemed to me completely useless, stating no opinion whatsoever.
Also... I won't forget your first post in the DTT.. It seemed to me that you were from the begging against us with no reason... It was just for your one fun, or maybe as a revenge one RD...
Edit: It seems to me that I'm not the only one!

I'd like to see some more members comment on the points that Sir_Stiven raised.
That is the kind of feedback that will help us the most.

You are basing your assumptions on things that you know are wrong.
The DTT was moved because of the style of thread that it is. Any other reasons that you stated are not applicable, and in some cases - plain wrong.
Myself and Mighty Mage (both Mods) posted in that thread, and there were funny moments in it. There are members posting in that thread that have been there longer than I have.
The profanity caused people to look more closely at the thread and there was a vote between the three Tavern Mods at the time.
All 3 of us decided the thread should be moved. If you want to have it moved back then it is up to you to change the style of the thread to fit in with the Tavern ethos.
If you are not willing to do that then the thread will stay in the Wastelands.

You are making wild statements and accusations. If you can't back them up with real evidence then they're not helpful, and are not going to solve any problems that you have with RSF or any other issue.

If you're going to ask a member question, you should at least let them have a chance to answer before posting 'I didn't think so'.
Otherwise you come off as nothing but negative.

Unfortunately those threads you have mentioned are posted in the Other Side. As Tavern Mods, we can't do anything about that. Notify Wolfman and/or Khaelo if you feel this strongly about it.

Acu, I think you need to calm down and take a deep breath. I don't like how you keep critizing everyone about nothing. That's why I, "Got into your bussiness." I'm sorry that you feel your conversation is private; maybe if you want it to be private you should do it via IM. I think you need to calm down.

I'm sorry if you think I have changed somehow. I don't think I have changed. I don't know about this, "Second -Qp request," I have no idea what your talking about.

The reason I mentioned my Hate Turkey thread, is because its about how everybody hates America and how thats getting old. So instead of hating America, we should start hating another country. It was a good thread IMO, it wasn't too serious, however it got deleted.

Maybe there is a FEW members that has been here for a long time, that posts in DTT, but the most powers just aint.
As for you posting in it, it isn't many posts, unlike in TT.
About DTT being moved. "Style of the thread" Its a TAVERN(hmm?) We have fun (hmmm?) And we talk (hmmm?)
So yet again:
If we should get moved, so should almost every thread.
This wasn't meant as "Punish us? Then everyone should get punished!"-KinderGarden style. But its true.

It doesnt happen very often...
that i defend a moderator but in this case i think the critism is really undeserved.
What i like most about RSF, is his dedication to improve this board and his instant willingness to improve himself.. to grow in this assignment as a moderator.
Power trip? not IMO.
Not now, there has been tendencies. But when the issue has been raised then he have calmed off which i think is great. That proves that he thinks more of the board then his personal agenda. Thats as far as power trip as you can get IMO.
I think if given space and time he can become a great mod for this board, my only advice to him for now would be not to take things personal. But his doing better and better. Just give him a chance.
Now with that said before this turns into a RSF debate again, lets try and stay on the subjects could we?
tossdeal raised some points about DDT, but to be honest... the more i read his posts the more i get an idea that he has some kind of a TT complex. Its seems to that this is more and more about personal confirmation (being "booted" out of TT and now DDT has gotten moved) than the actual DDT thread itself.
I think you are reading too much into the fact that thread got moved.
You say that the mods just dont like DDT, if im not mistaken tossmodean has posted there?
But honestly, the threads low view rating isnt because of mods. Its because that a very small group find DDT interesting enough to even view.

I think shogun - Houdini made a great statement there. All of his post is really on spot but i liked that quote the most.
I agree with it, with all of it. Its spam and it kill threads.
Wether its "this belongs in the wastelands" or another off topic comment it does as SH says just takes the discussion away. For a thread that had had one of those one liners in em it usually takes another sparking post to get it back on track again. And if no one makes em the thread dies, even if the discussion still has potential.
This is IMO one of the biggest SPAM problems in HC and tavern right now.
Dingo isnt the only one though, there are a couple of others which posting habits should be looked into aswell IMO.

Aculias... I try to be out this stupid pettle, which is from a very very stupid reason. But your points are just ridiculous. I think you are angry that your gf got booted out of tavern FOR the bad modding. I'm getting sick and tired of your complaints towards Sox... Even if he would do everything accoridng to your perfect picture of perfect moderating, you'll just find something to be not happy with... Writting style, some typos, I don't know... Try to be less arogantic and "hurted" and try to become more a help to HC.

Those are pretty harsh words.
I am not mad about what happend to her, She made a mistake just like any other mod, the only thang was she was punished for it because of me while other mods got a slap on the wrist like an older Moderator.
