You don't know what happened to your Avatar Supersonic?
Somebody help! Avatars changing without control...
Anyway, Solymir is not a bad hero, it is one of the best tower magic heroes, so if you see him, take him.

True, if you see him in the tavern, take him, but don't use as your main.

Well, when picking a main I would usualy pick a Might hero, even if playing the magicaly oriented Tower town.
When talking about secondary heroes, who I prefer to be magic heroes, Solymir is a good choice for the tower, as he will gain knowledge pretty fast, fast enough to use his chain lightning spell alot of times, and will learn many good spells.

I would agree with ComradX.
Solmyr is not a bad hero.
But the heroes I would pick would have to be Neela because she is the best Tower hero, and Solmyr.

For supersonic, who said that Solmyr is bad? I don't write it in my Tower rating.
Thx for ComradeX and Supersonic for giving 'red stars' for my Rating. I hope Angelito deos it too. LOL
Bout the Avatar's changing day, I also confuse in it. My avatar doesn't change, but this morning, I saw TNT_Addict's avatar changed to musculed woman's picture and his red stars become FIVE!!! HONORABLE!!! When I saw his quality count, he had 19!!! What the HELL had been happened?

Take Aine. Neela is horrible, way overrated. Alchemists get 20% power and 20% knowledge when leveling up which is bad for a main. Aine will help u scrounge up the gold while you are praying to get a better hero from the tavern (beastmaster or barbarian preferably, but rangers, knights or overlords will work too).

Youre manipulating with my words man... what i meant was that beastmasters and barbarians are better. Knights would only be used as a backup option in case you didnt find the prementioned heroes in a tavern or prison.
seriously though.. getting 30% attack and 30% defence is crap compared to the 30/60 that beastmasters and 55/30 that barbarians get. And that armorer specialty imho doesnt make up for it.

Ok, in that case - how many beastmasters, barbarians and other heroes are better than Neela in your opinion? You can scratch out log specialists, because we all know they are superior and people usually won't let you use them as a main. Think about it, then post their names here (or just post their classes here if you think their entire hero class is superior).

Im not gonna bother making some list. The other reason why im against taking neela was that taking the +350 gold a day dude would really help out in the case of tower(especially since i prefer poorer maps)

Do you really think that all of those better than Neela with their skills like scouting or ballistics and useless specialties? Or you just listed a bunch of heroes that you'd consider for a main?

I listed the heroes I find better than Neela with tower. Some of them I would pick right away, others I might level up a bit to see what skills they got (same with Neela) and then decide. But I find Aine the better choice to start with too because there are so many heroes that are better or as good as Neela.

There are many much better heroes than yog. Gundula for example...

Its funny you compare me with William since i have been comparing you with him and some other guys too (given up on reading your posts).
The fact is barbarians is the best hero class in the game. Yog starts with 1 useless skill but the chances he will get 6 of the skills log, pf, earth, air, armor, tactics and archery is about 10 times Neelas chances of getting these skills. Futhermore he will get much more in attack and defence than Neela, which are much more important skills than power and knowledge.
And no its not a huge advantage that Neela has scolar so that she can learn chain lightning from solmyr when she gets adv wisdom and exp scolar.
