Rebound means that when you play the spell, you get to play it again for free at the beginning of your next upkeep.
Example:
Player A controls two Runeclaw Bears. Player A attacks with both. Player B responds with Staggershock targeting one bear. It dies, but the other one gets through for 2 damage (meanwhile, Staggershock gets exiled instead of being put in the graveyard). Then the turn ends and player B's turn starts. When his upkeep begins, Staggershock's Rebound ability triggers and player B plays it targeting the other bear, in the end having destroyed two creatures with one card. Once Staggershock finishes resolving (for the second time), it's put in its owner's graveyard.

I have a question concerning annihilator. What happens when I'm attacked by annihilator and don't have enough permanents to sacrifice?
And isn't the annihilator trait too strong (meaning that you don't have any chance to win when facing an annihilator creature?) Sure, it cost a lot of mana, but with the Elrazi spawns it won't be too difficult to gather it).

If you don't have enough, you sacrifice as many as you can.
I wouldn't say the ability is too strong, at least not in the cases where its value is 2 or thereabouts. At my prerelease, I only faced a colorless Eldrazi twice, and the first time of those I still had plenty of time to push damage through with my Hada Spy Patrol. Overall, I'd say Ulamog's Crusher would be stronger with trample instead.

annihilator is a waaayy too powerfull ability yes, but still, the creatures with the ability is hard to get through to the field, and dies easy as pie ;p
So all in all, the abb sucks actually.. (Unless you use academy researchers and combine it with the Aura that gives annihilator 2...

I finished 4th in a 10 man 3xRotE draft today. And let me tell you, it sure is an awesome thing when you swing with a Pathrazer of Ulamog equipped with Hedron Matrix 20/20, Annihilator 3, can't be blocked by fewer than 3 creatures Too bad it bit a Smite In that same game I had collected 16 Eldrazi Spawn from Rapacious One equipped with said Hedron Matrix
And I can't believe I've been passed 3 Overgrown Battlements! Having two of those and two other defenders made them Pathrazers quite attainable
I ended up winning a Coldsnap pack which contained Lovisa Coldeyes. *shrug*
Anyway, list:
10 Forest
8 Mountain
1 Daggerback Basilisk
3 Overgrown Battlement
1 Pelakka Wurm
2 Wildheart Invoker
1 Snake Umbra
1 Gelatinous Genesis
2 Battle Rampart
1 Conquering Manticore
1 Ogre Sentry
1 Rapacious One
1 Valakut Fireboar
2 Vent Sentinel
2 Pathrazer of Ulamog
1 Hedron Matrix
1 Skittering Invasion

I've seen the idea discussed on the official boards, except there with 1 Emrakul and 200 Skittering Invasion/Shields of Velis Vel/Blades of Velis Vel for attainability.
In other news, I'm heading to another RotE draft later today (which I fear may be the last draft in the area in a long time ). Will report afterwards if anyone's interested.
EDIT: I ended up drafting the following deck...
5x Plains
12x Island
1x Dawnglare Invoker
1x Knight of Cliffhaven
1x Transcendent Master
1x Repel the Darkness
1x Oust
3x Champion's Drake
1x Coralhelm Commander
2x Frostwind Invoker
1x Hada Spy Patrol
3x Sea Gate Oracle
2x Skywatcher Adept
2x Domestication
1x Drake Umbra
1x Narcolepsy
2x See Beyond
...and piloted it through three consecutive wins, only to lose the fourth round and taking third place Oh well, hopefully I can sell the Transcendent Master for a bit.

5 Plains are too few to support Transcendant Master. You also want to be able to cast Knight of Cliffhaven and Dawnglare Invoker early.
What other cards did you draft, but decide not to play?

Transcendent Master was far from a desirable third turn play in the deck, so his tricky mana cost was never an issue, as having drawn it too early I usually shuffled it away with See Beyond. I don't remember all my other cards, but there was Reality Spasm, three Halimar Wavewatches and Survival Cache. I currently think cutting white altogether might have been a good choice, even if it meant playing the subpar Wavewatches.

I think it's a bit overkill. Welcome. sure. but do we really need more formats? especially formats that involve making games more chaotic than they are in multiplayer?
I'll probably get a deck. just so i can play archenemy if we ever want to.
But seriously.
Planechase, frontier magic, planechase, deckbuilder's toolbox, intro decks. They are seriously getting all kinds of new product out there.

Frontier Magic is not a new format. As mentioned in the recent online article, the format was described years ago in Scrye. It'll never be turned into an official product because it'd require too drastic a rules makeover for a one-time experiment.

Wavewatch is by no means a subpar creature. It's obviously ridiculous vs blue decks but it's always decent. It just doesn't seem that the white splash offers you that much. You already have 10 fliers (counting Drake Umbra). As I see it the Wavewatchers go straight into such a deck.

Uh, no. The combo with Protean Hulk caused Flash to be banned.
A two-card combo that nets you five mana if you happen to have seven lands in play already is far from broken in Legacy.
