I just want to get the definitions on what i believe hive mentality to be.
you may choose your own path but ultimately you are a servant to society. it is everyone's job to maintain society.

If we had to, I would say we should capture them nicely and kill them before we load them on the truck humanely, so they don't have to live in terror of not knowing whats going on and why they cant do what they want to do. Hunting could severely hurt a lot unless you get a head shot which is a hunters dream.
But as I see things, we don't have to, we choose to because we like it, and we believe its a natural part of our diet.
I just had a little beef because my other alternative was a large salad but I choose both because I need to eat something other than lettuce. If I had the ability to go to a grocery store myself (which I do but I have no fridge or stove, or microwave even) I would get vast amounts of awesome foods that requires no bloody animals.

A hive mind is a mentality in which there is very little or no individual thought, and everything is done with the benefit of society as the only goal. If it would benefit society for you to commit suicide, then, with a hive mind, you would do so.
I don't advocate a hive mind.

You certainly contradict yourself. This is exactly what you said before and now you say you don't advocate it?
Let's see: you say an individual should decide? Then, what if I want to kill Mr. X? No, of course i can't, since it harms society (let's say I'm cold blooded) -- therefore you are advocating a hive mind.

No, it's not what I said before. I said that a good action is one that benefits society. But what good is it to benefit society if you are going to harm yourself in the process? Society is a means, not an end.
And saying that you shouldn't kill Mr. X isn't advocacy of a hive mind. In fact, if you think about it, you are harming yourself (albeit indirectly) if you kill Mr. X.

You don't get it do you? Not everyone works in your favor. Let us take an easy example. There is a whole nation that simply has absolutely no benefit to the rest of the world (society). Let's say the guys there do nothing but hunt for THEMSELVES and make some voodoo stuff. The question is, since they are (as currently) absolutely worthless to the society, DO YOU ENSLAVE THOSE PEOPLE?
That is the same as with animals: exactly the same. So by your mentality we should enslave them, and it's ok to kill them: after all it doesn't hurt our society, on the contrary enslavement will bring GOOD things for this society (since after all, they are 'useless' to the society with what they do, see above). And no, these guys do NOT help your society and do not trade anything. Period.
This is exactly the Nazi thinking extended a bit...
