I would not be against the Gunners being in the UEL knockout stage, but I don't think Wenger would care enough to field the first team, he probably won't care very much.

Özil's in a fine form but what's the poin comparing him to some bloke from a relegation fodder team?
The Venezuela team quiting is something you would expect from an African national team although corruption and mismanagement is something the Latin American countries do oh so very well.
Gary Neville appointed Valencia head coach until end of season
How many weeks will he last? David Moyes didn't last long there with the typical english style football and he was an acomplished coach...
I'm guessing at 2 months maybe?

I'm reading RM have fielded Cheryshev, who should be serving a red card suspenssion, for today's Copa del Rey match...
I'm so hoping they receive a ban, this is ridiculous

Neville as a top league manager ? Could work, or could fail miserably. Not everybody is Luis Enrique or has Barca's squad. Lol.

Should Chelsea lose against Porto at CL and be eliminated from the competition, do you guys see Mourinho getting fired from Chelsea again? They're only 2 points above relegation right now...
Btw, Madrid were banned from Copa del Rey after Cheryshev incident, all while uncle Pérez is trying to lift the ban behind a technicality. It's so embarrassing to watch

Semi-random observation
The truth is, that most top European leagues that are not England, Spain, Germany, Italy, and more timid Portugal, France and Netherlands and Belgium suck big time in comparison. Sometimes teams from the Scandinavian region, or Central Europe, or Balkans, or Scotland, or Turkey, Ukraine and Russia make great runs, usually in the old UEFA cup, but they are the exceptions, the leagues are not great.
And even in those big leagues, there can still be huge gaps.
And as a fact, Things are getting worse than ever in the Romanian league, with no team having a clear financial backing.

I really hope ManU end up bottom of the table but then they will be able to concentrate on the Premier League.
Not that they will win it. lol

David Moyes an accomplished manager? Give me strength. He is an awful manager and was found out when he was appointed at Man Utd. He is a mid table to relegation team manager. Yeah he was okay at Everton constantly getting them midtable but when he went to a bigger club he struggled.
I tip Neville to do well at Valencia because his know how of the game and knowledge of it is second to none.

Moyes got awards for keeping Everton slightly below the top 4. So, yeah, leave me alone with Mr. "Never Mind" David Moyes.
Man U was too great a challenge for him. He lacked the sling for this Goliath.
And hey Will!

David Moyes win percentage against all top 4 teams for most years he managed was atrocious. Even his record against teams in the top half wasn't even that good. Against the bottom half and bottom 3 it was much better but that's not really a sign of being a good manager though is it? It's one thing being able to beat all the small teams but if you're a good manager then his win percentage against the top half of teams and teams in the top 4 should have been better at Everton and they just weren't.
He did do a good job of getting Everton to being a stabilised unit but that's about it. He's essentially a mid table to lower table manager and he is never suited to managing teams that have expectations or want results because he simply isn't good enough. I've never rated him and never will.
