The answer for that, is simple: Incompetence!
They did not know how to sync the Might Hero's attack correctly so they decided to delete it altogether and replace it with this.
Hey, at least the attack is quick and not some slow video camera shot...I like it

Don't you feel though it's not so, uhh... mightly?
They all have these fancy unique swords (well, at least I hope they do now because in the Beta it was all the same) and now they don't get to use them.

And like I said in ubi does it really make more sense to gallop through other units, obstacles or walls? I prefer this simpler animation, it just seems a waste to just discard the previous one.

Well, I don't see anything cool or great about that. I would have rather them sync the previous animation properly than do this.
In fact, the ideal would be for different faction might heroes to have different attacks. Why not? The different faction magic heroes have different attacks but not the might ones.

IT GOT UNLOCKED IN STEAM! I'M PLAYING THE GAME! PLAYING IT! I had to say it  Years of wait has ended!!!!!!!!!! 
EDIT: I am very surprised to see the thing which was suggested by the fans is in the game. After making the unit wait for some time, it starts to dance like in that April Fools' video

It's unlocking on Steam for me as well.
EDIT: Nevermind. It just preloaded... again... Glad to see it unlocks the minute my !@#$%^& lunch break ends. Thank you idiotic street dates.

I just played for an hour. It is of course not enough for me to say anything. I am just mesmerised that this day I have waited for years has come and I am playing Heroes 6
I even had dreams about this game in my sleep several times lol
Btw, as we are now talking about the actual release of the game, the bugs that will be reported or things we don't like won't get replies like "we already know that from the beta", right? Cause not everyone played the beta and I especially escaped reading things about beta as they would have been spoilers.

A service is unavailable ?
Im sittting here very early morning just finished decrypting my game files on steam and about to submit my game and all i get when i push submit is A Service i unavailable.
well i guess im just insanely unlucky from I logged in to my ubi account till I copied my product key in, ubi crashed
just rebooted and now i cant log in to my ubi account.
I ve tried push play offline but guess what? "you must have played once online for this service to work !! /cry

I just have to wait till Ubisoft will send me the hard-copy - wonder how long that will take... :/ Anyway can't wait for the upcoming patches and the new, hopefully perfect town screens!!!

Final version H6 after day 1 patch have lots more multiplayer maps for 2 players. No more haven resurrect bug. Alt-tab now work really well. Added new bag - cursor flickering in game.

well, not sure if you can trust the review. after all, heroes 5 was rated 17/20 while it had a lot of problems.
