You just have to make your money available less then the sum you are asked for transformation.

doable in early weeks, not likely later.

For instance I run with 400 k in month 3 and I get over 2 dwelling of gorgons, (that's is actually true near Zubin castle) I don't want to pay 80 k fo their transformation but I want to get +2 fights won. So I ask if it is possible to let player choose whether he wants to do the transformation after he wins the fight. Castle conversion style.

As I said this is minor and if to much of a hassle, just forget it.

You can now fight the dwellings without converting. I wanted to avoid this because this way you can fight 2 times instead of one, thus is an exploit of the special bonus. But pretty irrelevant, world will not collapse.

All the level 6 dwellings currently allow 2 fights-first the dwelling creature,then the efreets.

Not all I think, only those who had the yellow square in a different location (efreets for example), thus I am forced to change location after deleting.  Those who will replace in same square get only one fight.

@Edit; in fact you are 90% right, all except wivern nest. The others have the yellow square opposite to efreets.

Well there is like ... 1 or 2 Wyvern nest in the map anyway. And the creatures guard in 6th dwelling also accumulate IIRC, why do they function so differently?

There is no problem with, just answered to ML why you get two fights by default in 6th level. When you fight them first time, they get converted but the yellow square is now moved +1/-1 left/right, so you have to fight again. This will never happen with other dwellings which will be placed in same location.

I would've never guessed the reason behind this . Those efreets have to be different , well and wyverns

Also , thinking of it there is no Unicorn glade dwelling on the map. Cos it goes on 3 squares and will generate problems on conversion.

I use this exploit before Damacon, I run for him when I have 46 battles because I know I will get 4 fights from efreets. Not changing many things, just a detail.

Getting back to that "Change Hate" button. Think is possible?

I really think that if you want to complete Hell you need to be lucky besides playing very good. So don't hinder good games just cos bad luck. Imagine 2 weeks + of delay can be the difference between going to an AI with 50% more stats or not..

Or simply disable hatred for Hell?

I would prefer instead to lower damage/defense growth, because in my opinion the only thing AI can use wisely is hatred (have you seen how he will ignore all his stacks except the one hatred, he will throw that one at you in priority). Let me think and compare ouch growth to how could be improved but not create dead game.

Ok, did a lot of comparisons and here is what I propose for HELL

Specific factions bonus for HELL

MoS: +2 bonus from each CB defeated that day and same hero
MOW: conversion price stops at 5th town (was removed from OUCH, too strong)
MOS: spells power and effect is multiplied by 4
MOD: Cost of hell barons is halved

All FACTIONS:

No caps for devils/demons/barons in damage/HP upgrades
All CB give *2 base reward (month 1 will give 2, month 2 will give 4)
Attack all around replaces blind immunity
Can exchange abilities between efreets/demons/devils
Magic shop will no more offer upgrade damage on hell mode because already available
Arena and Dragons lair give spoils of war (if bonus unlocked)
Demons start with fire immunity (internal flag)

AI GROWTH:

Attack, defense and HP increase by 25% until month 4, then by 50% until month 9, then by 100%
Damage increase by 15% until month 8, then by 25% (easier than OUCH but you have to deal with tremendous HP and defense)
Speed increase by 1 until month 4, then by +2

AI exceptions: Galthran/Thane have 1/3 less army (cursed ground)
Gorynitches, trolls and mighty gorgons are not affected by special growth (battles on cursed ground)

Should I set treasure hunters to give *2 gold (2000) in HELL?

Will need testing I didn't use treasure hunters for MoS yet. I am low with gold, but I got used to that in MoS from previous game. I can't actually use 30-40 devils on gold income, they're like 30% of my army

The other changes seem OK. I mean as it is now Hell is not doable. First brick wall I hit : Dace, with no Hatred. 188 Devils in month 3 w 2 can't match his army. I fool the AI to stay behind the walls but as soon as medusa finish their ammo he starts using the blessed harpies taking 35 AD's per hit

Waiting 1 more week seems like an option. But still don't think will matter much and I haven't yet stepped into month 4.


Problem wit those changes is that will require a new game, ye?

Yes it requires starting game, but this part you won't see anymore, they deals same damage as in ouch, even less in late months, then bigger from 9th. So should be doable, but much more defense and hit points, which requires using hypnotize double creatures in Dace fight and hide behind.

Sounds interesting to have spell power/effect and +2 bonus for CB applied to one and the same faction!

Sounds good to me as a proposal for Hell difficulty.

For updates in starting dialog about Hell difficulty TEW IV was replaced. Anyway, you get the same details when clicking on the new in-game button.


Now I will try with MoW. As I said, AI damage isn't different from Ouch level, but battles will be longer so need to see how enemies as Zydar or Rissa can be defeated. You will have much more mithril and attack all around is like having two stacks of devils/demons in one. Treasure hunters doubles, it may be more interesting for economy to use them early.

I have yet to test what happens with frenzy when hit two enemies at once. Probably both will suffer HP halved but don't know yet.

Seeing that Hell gets the same damage growth with Ouch (or is it?) kinda disappointed me. If they can't finish you before the Prayer and Bless effects kick in it's GG no matter how much Health and Atk/Def do they have. Higher damage means that you need think whether you can last long enough for Bless/Prayer boosts or not and have to use other spells. Imo it should be higher even only a tiny bit, but who knows eh.

Only applies to Damage spells and Resurrection right? Not like MoE uses anything more than Resurrection anyway...

It is very dangerous to touch at damage. Already they hit you in ouch mode, you die. So you try by all means to make battle the shortest possible and finish before all efreets are dead. Now, with much increased HP and def, battle will be twice longer and you still have same challenge, not get hit. Well, I modified damage from 15% to 25% and there was no way to get past Ajit if after month 4, so is limited only to MoS. The +2 speed will also kick in, as you need constantly to cast prayer instead of frenzy or forgetfulness. I don't think will be  easy, but if you find it so, I will make an alisapa 8th difficulty level.

I was joking, again I haven't tested it yet . But like you said earlier, it's meaningless if you try to create a new Difficulty yet try to buff everything on our side to compensate and equal it out, if that's not the case then ok.
