Taking TB seriously when it comes to Heroes is a no go.
Here's why
He pretty much sold me the game and the first day I couldn't even connect to the Conflux but the snowty Uplay intergration was the least of my problems with that game.

He did have a point in that review - HoMM VI had lots of potential to turn out good and since he reviewed only skirmish - I see where he was coming from. And lets be honest - I'd take HoMM VI adventure map over anything Lymbic did for HoMM VII.

A 12.427Gb in size of a game is bound to be made for power rigs.
That truly proves what Limbic has been doing for the past 4 years.
Plus, a patch almost the same size as the whole game: 11.2Gb in size.
But, the actual .exe game file is only of 21+ MB in size. And, the funny part about the Editor .exe file is: It is 3 times the size of the actual game.
Have you ever wondered why the devs required so many levels of directories in the making of this latest title? Here's why: Tons and tons of support files to the actual game file. Making this game: virtually impossible to mod.
The game's map making is literally cut out of the entire game and has its own icon launcher for it. Feels like Heroes 5.5's modding made by Magnomagnus.
The game runs very slowly. So, do not be impatient with it and, arm yourselves with lots of patience when playing this game on an older PC than mine(6 cores and 16 gigs of RAM + 1 Gb of a 6000 series vid. card)
It clearly states that it is recommended to play this game on state-of-the-art latest PCs. Having an R7 or R9 video processors mostly anticipated for this game. Especially playing it on the 64bit Mode of the game. Puts me in high gear at seriously upgrading my current PC.
Game seems to run fine on the Win. 10 Home platform of an O.S. but, needed a serious kick in the butt to initialize the autorun file in order to initiate the setup program on the DVD Deluxe Edition of this game(obviously, it is a physical copy of a retail DVD of a Deluxe Edition).
On the Deluxe Edition of the game, the rest of the package should be found on disk 2 of the plastic case of the retail release(North American Market, at least). Only half the storage capacity of the 2nd disk was left at installing the rest of the package(really tight fit).
Turns out that I was right in my prediction as to where it came from. California, U.S.A.

I tried creating some RMG maps today, but it keeps showing me "program not responding" a lot. It doesn't crash though, it just takes some minutes, I usually got the RMG-map done in less than 10 minutes though(everything maxed in options for size) I only tried to make few of them, but couldn't get any normal open maps so I quit.

He's obviously not trustworthy. Someone, arrest him and beat him down with a spider woven stick.

Writing a whole new testament on that oversized hog of a strategy game = No Way Jose.
Uplay already offers a DLC for it. Umm...That was kinda quick on their part. Don't you agree? I do.

TB makes some valid points, I mostly agree with the lack of features to attract newcomers or to help people get into the game. It is quite baffling how such a complicated (for newcomers) title ships without a tutorial. The developers could have at least made a huge arrow indicating "play Haven campaign first" at the very least.
It's like they were so focused on creating a hardcore heroes experience that the whole quality-of-life angle, which would actually sell copies got lost somewhere.

At first I thought MMH7 was about polishing the very best of the franchise thus paying homage. The part where I'm in total agreement with TB is when he says the features of the past games are better, in the past games. IMO H7 is a downgrade not only because it does not innovate, but because it is an actual downgrade.

My, my, so many furious comments on SC.
I'll spare such people of "we told you so". Instead, let them be furious. For next time they start to buy Ubi's product, this should at least teach them to think before making such an decision. Even to claim cleglaw is outrage is an understatement.

Majority of reviews on steam and metacritic are just pathetic. I'm losing any hope I had in today's gaming industry industry. But I don't want to be negative so I just let it go.
I love the game. It has been pretty much the only game I have played since release and still eager to play more. Love the art and all the stained glass designs around. I'm sure it's going to improve on most of its shortcomings as the base concepts and mechanics are very, very solid.
FYI, I'm not going to enter into any discussions about the game being good or not, so you can come back to your bridge
I'm all for discussing the factions and campaigns once the dust settles.
