I digged up your post it is from oct 2014 and it was before you started using any QAI, I basically wonder if you had your game properly patched and synced back then, but I guess there is no way to know right know?

To answer your question: it is very important to always have your game patched!

We tried once again, new game on warlords - same issue this time the other player (stronghold) leveled up from level 3 to level 4.

When he gives turn without leveling up the turn is transfered.

P.S.

Another update - this bug occurs only if the game is loaded from save.
For example : if we create a game and play without loading there will be no issue.

If we decide that we finish for today, and load the game on the next day - the first to level up will trigger the bug.

Now I remember. That is a different bug.
Every game we did hanged around levels 4-5, no matter what map we play .
You can consider this a different one.

Thanks, btw, whenever an error occurs you should immediately open the console, sometimes it says something useful.

EDIT: Could you also answer this question?

Yes. this was many years ago so I dont remember properties but we had that issue where we are 3 people playing and at some point turn is not passed. We used hamachi. It was ToTe for sure as I that was somewhere between 2009 and 2012. It was happening on month 1 and around leveling level 5.

I dont know if it was 3.01 or 3.0.

I was quite a network noob back then so it is possible the issue to be on the LAN side (you must set HAMACHI as the top priority network otherwise the EXE wont search for players there and you wont see the game).

So basically my answer is "I am not sure, it should be tested again".

Good news I have released the first beta:

MMH55 Beta

The beta includes 36 demo maps that can be played right away to test the new futures, please make sure 'show RMG maps' is activated and look for the maps starting with 'H55'. most of them have strong monsters and the ultima maps have very strong monsters. Look around carefully, there are many new interactive clutter objects on the maps.

To see more new stuff right away I recommend starting with some of the longer gameplay maps, for example the ones with 'epic' in the name. Take in mind the difference between H5 and H55 are much more visible in late game than early game.

Some epic and ultima maps have hand crafted grail side quests. For more info and discussing the new RMG check the new thread: Advanced RMG

I have also added new screenshots to the first post to explain the new AI enhancements and functions, there will be 4 more difficulty levels with cheating for advanced players, use the console command @H55_ChallengeMe(x); to team up all AI players against yourself on any map. (where x = your player number). This will greatly increase the challenge and also make the AI even faster.

@xuxo, for your convenience I kept textures separated. It includes all tiles + PRT textures, but not the creatures. I think it looks weird to have only a few creatures pre-rendered, because they don't match.

The first thing you will do is remove all textures units were a test that does not end, and I plan to start them again but in another way more in line with the game. in addition to tweak some textures do not convince me. I'm playing with Jeddite the heretic !!! : D

PD:By the way, you give me permission to translate the texts into Spanish? The .pak could be placed in a separate .deberia have in the future a translator for each language !!! (surely becomes famous mod and many gamers Hispanic)

Great news Magnomagus!!!
Next week we start testing xD.

A few things that are bothering us while playing.

1. Enlightment - Currently it gives 5/10/15% EX + 1 skill point for every 4/3/2 levels.
This is very strong now(lvl 30 hero get lvl 45 skills points) but it will be even stronger in  the H55 mod due to the possibility to go higher levels.

if it is possible to edit I propose 5/4/3 skill per level gain (lvl 30 hero gets lvl 40 skill points).


2. 8 Skills are nice but leveling up becomes uncomfortable due to the fact that you chose between 2 major and 2 minor skills.

Basically if you dont develop one skill and jump on new ones at the end you have a mess of skills. Is it possible to increase the choice to 3 major and 3 minor?

3. Is it possible to add 75% protection against magic to the War machine units? (at least the balista). It doest gain defense and 1.6K hp are quite insufficient. I really dont think it should die so easy by magic.

P.S.

I can translate the game in Bulgarian. I just need a little help on where are all the texts. Never did such thing.

I'm archiving all I'm translating into Word files with the original text. When you finish the step and so to have all the texts together to translate at once. Are almost all in the same folder appears "texts", I guess some things will be in time code will translate everything you see out there haha

Most of the text files are in the index.pak file, but there are also still txts in the data.pak file that went along with various modifications. You need to use an attribute changer to update all the file dates of the translated txt files and put them together in one archive with the same file structure. As for the ingame manual: The trees and development charts are easily fixed with some textboxes drawn over them, but the skills are another story. The ingame descriptions are txt, but the manuals are .dds the need to be rewritten or simply removed if that is acceptable. At least I have the original backgrounds. the original manual files are .cdr files (CorelDraw) but the backgrounds can be delivered in other format.

I've seen that if many skills appear to me in English (I have the game in Spanish of course) but I found that the meaning is the same. You may have included some unnecessary texts could simply delete? . I suppose many would be changed because parameters to balance the game, then I will focus more carefully.He had not yet tested or even Quantomas AI, imagine the change for me haha

as a general rule if it isn't in defaultstats.xdb or in the Gamemechanics folder, it can only be done in hex-editing. Unless it is totally new and can be scripted.

I think the struggle is part of the game's addictive qualities (compare h6). But in MMH55 or RPE I hardly ever fail to get the skills I want. using perks first strategy.

Tested beta. So far it works great. I like new Combat UI and Skilltree. I use http://heroescommunity.com/viewthread.php3?TID=23962 and can't pass isabel mission 2. I only have task: Isabell must survive. Maybe script conflinct. Tried with original H5_Game.exe but doesn't work.

I cleared my UserMods folder and the EE_* pak files from the data folder and now it seems textures are missing.



I'm very excited about this project as I just restarted to play Homm5 hotseat with a friend. Thanks !

EDIT: Found a fix. I had to reduce anisotropic filtering and could set back up afterwards.

I vaguely recall the texture issue was fixed by extending the memory usage in 32bit OS above 3GB. Google something like windows 7 3gb switch
If you use 64bit OS + 64bit exe the issue shouldn't occur.

keep getting the error zlibl.dll is not on m PC try reinstalling it. Tried a few times now but still not working am I doing something wrong ?

i think you installed it in the wrong directory, because that's a game file. (maybe GOG?) Uninstall it, then reinstall and find the right directory
