I'm not exactly cancelling the mod, just putting it on hold for better times. I may modify/add some creature when I'm bored and got time.

Tbh I don't understand why you don't work yourself on your own mod since you like h7.
I don't have any experience with creating new models or modyfing them, therefore I'd have to learn everything from scratch, which is something I don't have time for atm.
However, who says I'm not working on anything for H7

Wow, huge and impressive work. Especially restoring old kinds of resources, would help to make game much more clear.
I hope that You will finish this mod someday. But If You will decide to stop working on it, please consider sharing unfinished mod. It would be great source of resources and knowledge for other modders.

Looks nice, Lizard. I wonder if it wouldn't look more menacing with green smoke, though. Think you could color it that way?

Sorry, I was out of dragon farts to produce green smoke effect.

Tis true. I refuse to let the last Heroes game (at least for awhile) be plagued with such idiocracy! Plus I would hate to see Lizard's awesome creature models go to waste.

Guys i need some help.. unfortunnaly my editor from H7 dosen't like me and it crashes in 20-40 seconds so i can't do anything there.
I like to change a hero portrait (Stronghold, female character). I will provide necessary pics, but i need someone to do it.

Do you have the autosave feature DISABLED? This is the only reason which could cause so frequent crashes.

Modding Question
Looking for a little assistance with a mod I am creating.
The problem is that I have been unable to get the base custom creature to upgrade to the upgraded version of the custom creature.
The building works fine, it upgrades and gives you your choice between the base and upgraded versions once the upgraded building is built but any base units in the army do not get the little upgrade icon over them.
I did the same steps with creating a copy of the griffin and upgraded griffin and that one gives the icon and the upgrade in army works but when I try it with a copy of the lizardman or koppa both work in the buildings but neither give the option to upgrade in army.
In both cases I created the two copies gave them different names and stats and set the base and upgraded versions in the creature file. I very carefully compared these to the griffin copies which work as well as crossbow and marksman and can not for the life of me figure out what I missed if anything.
Anyone able to help me get this sorted out so I can continue with my mod?
Edit:
Still not sure exactly what the issue was with the creature not upgrading but have managed to get past it usually a slightly different approach. Looks like I now have a new faction complete with its own town, monsters and heroes that seems to be working properly after much testing and debugging.
It would be nice to be able to use some of the support buildings from other towns and mix them up a bit. Anyone know if that can be done and if so any info as to how to get it to work?

New Issue
Looks like I have ran into another issue and this one has me stumped.
I created a faction, a town, some heroes and creatures to go with it.
Everything seems to work fine while playing. Creatures train, upgrade, look and behave as expected.
The issue comes when loading a save, sometimes it works but other times [most of the time] if does not seem to remember which buildings have been built. This only applies to the buildings I have copied and modified. All the new buildings are in my new upk file as are the creatures, heroes and other stuff.
When loading a save has an issue what I am seeing is that there are slots in the recruiting portion for any creatures whose dwelling has been built and the proper number of creatures that should be there but in the build tree the building is not shown as being built. If I then build the building it will show another slot with that same create to recruit and will have the default number of creatures shown. If the existing one was holding 0 at the time then even if the new one says 20 nothing can actually be recruited from it. The recruiting screen shows 2 slots for that creature. I have not played it to far after this problem arises but seems it would cause issues especially after rebuilding the buildings and even more so it it happens to multiple dwellings.
I have been over all the things I can think of and can not find the source of the issue.
Any ideas?
Edit: Ok I managed to figure out what I was doing wrong. I had missed a portion in the faction settings that was keeping me from being able to rename the buildings and get them to show on the build screen and I think the fact that I was still using the original names for my modified building was hosing the saves. Seems to be working properly now.

Is this mod still being worked on? I really want to play it, even if it is unfinished there should be some sort of release of this mod out there, so much work has gone into this and it shouldn't be wasted.

Sadly no. I never got very far on transferring Lizard's creatures into the game cause I have no idea what I am doing in regards to anything I happened to have also got burnt out of H7 and took a break from the game.
A few months ago I cleaned out the files on my computer and the custom creatures got deleted so I have no way to work on it now as it is even if I wanted to.
I have, in the meantime, made my own mod that changes all the line ups and more. If I figure out how to upload the thing I'll release a version of it.
