Since there are vampires in Heroes 3, why not add werewolves? They could be a new neutral level 5 creature. (or perhaps belong in a new faction?)

Werewolves are also in Might and Magic, including MM6 (eg. already NWC-canon as existing on Enroth).

Uh, I would'nt mind mermaids either. They could have some sort of charm ability and they would actually be perfect for HotA.
So would Sea Monster or Kraken.

Maybe not looking "that" fishy, but I would like mermaids in HotA. Some other people suggested this too in different places.

What for? Neutrals are neutrals. They feel good (neutral) at every terrain and don't need home terrain

To make them just as attractive as "town creatures".
When Iron Golems are in snow, they are even faster than Gold and Diamond Golems, it makes no sense. Or perhaps Gold and Diamond Golems should just get +1 speed.

Possible terrains for neutral creatures:
Peasant - Grass.
Halfling - Moves to Factory and becomes Wasteland in HotA.
Rogue - Dirt perhaps.
Boar - Dirt perhaps.
Leprechaun - Grass.
Nomad - Sand.
Mummy - Sand.
Sharpshooter - Grass.
Satyr - Grass.
Steel Golem - Snow. (or Sand?)
Troll - Rough.
Gold Golem - Snow. (or Sand?)
Fangarm - Swamp.
Diamond Golem - Snow. (or Sand?)
Enchanter - Snow.
Faerie Dragon - Highland.
Rust Dragon - Wasteland or Subterranean.
Crystal Dragon - Rough perhaps. (Azure should be Snow)
Azure Dragon - Snow.

Werewolf (Level 5) - Dirt.
Mermaid (Level 4 or 5), Sea Monster (Level 7), Kraken (Level 7) - Sea if possible, otherwise Swamp.
Succubus (Level 4 or 5) Lava.
Nightmare (Level 6) - Lava.
Scorpion (Level 4-6) - Wasteland.
Chimera (Level 6) - Subterranean.

I compiled a list of Might & Magic (6-8)(few from 9) & Heroes(1-4) creatures not represented in Heroes III HotA, NOT Sci-Fi monsters or unrevealed Factory creatures and NOT repeating the same creature:

(Various other monsters I guess what I see from screens)

Heroes 1:
Nomad - Heroes 1 nomad can be used as an upgrade of the current Nomad.

Heroes 2:
Mummy - Unupgraded Mummy can be more like Heroes 2. The current one could be its upgrade.
Nomad - Mongol-like Nomads can be a good neutral unit or for an asian-themed town.
Ghost - a nice addition to the list of neutral units.

Heroes 4:
Berserker
Mermaid
Cetus (Sea Monster)
Mechanical Dragon
Venom Spawn (probably related to MM8 Fear/Terror/Abomination)
Ice Demon
Nightmare
White Tiger
Mantis
Waspwort
Evil Sorceress (maybe upgrade to MM7 female warlock)
Gargantuan
Frenzied Gnasher

Is almost 60-70 unique units overall. Wanting one could make completely new towns of lore-friendly creatures OR transform all existing towns in Heroes IV-style (meaning with about 4 alternative creatures per town).

Aren't Sea Serpents basically Giant Snakes?

And some of your units are just boring to include when there are similar ones around (just some of them, not all). Many of them are cool though, but we can't just add a heap of troops into H3.

But your post was an ideas post, right?

Crystal Dragons are confirmed to be snow, since they are created by wizards.

Yeah I know and it makes sense, but I'm not sure if both Crystal and Azure should be snow. Frozen Cliffs also implies snow.

Then I'd also say Fairy Dragons should be native to Highlands and Rust Dragons native to Sand/Subterranean.

I also suggested Highland for Faerie Dragons, Rust could be Wasteland/Sub. (Nomad and Mummy should be Sand.)

HotA Crew could'nt you PLEASE PLEASE do something to improve Eagle Eye, First Aid and Ballistics? Or maybe combine Eagle Eye and Scholar or First Aid and Ballistics.
These 3 skills really suck! 7 heroes even specialise in Eagle Eye and 3 in First Aid. (Learning also sucks, but I already made that decent myself.)

Thankfully, they said they are gonna do a lot of improving to the skills, either in the next release or the following.
