Some things are better left unsaid especially matters that ppl may deem such matters as personal or private. Listening to other ppl talk about masturbation can be revolting. I don't mind telling how many times i do it, i'm not proud of wanking, but not ashamed either.
I voted for 6-8 times a week.
And 5 other people has done that 2, theres even some 9+'s!(there isn't anything wrong with it) I'm really happy that people can admit how many time they do it.. That i didn't expect.

Personal - everybody says we all do it. Thus not mush personal, is it?
Private - of course you dont masturbate publicly, but I think the reason why people dont feel comfortable talking about it, is that deep down they feel guilty about it, or consider it a habit (necessary evil if you like) that is not suitable for sharing with others, because of fear of rejection/judgement, shame etc.
This is in total contrast with man's innate nature to experience sexual pleasure. Masturbation is but one way to it. By supressing it (either directly or as topic for discussion), we supress an (the most) important part of who we are.
Here's how I see it. I'm not in the position to have sex every day (even though I'd like to  ), but I do get sexual urges everyday. Therefore, it's no wonder that I masturbate about 5-7 times a week (I voted 6-8), depending on the circumstances. I masturbate in bed, in bathroom, in front of the computer sometimes 
Weirdest place I've done it... would be an underground garage, and in the see at a beach full of people (so watch where you swim next time; unidentified goos abound ).
Some more coming outs by free-minded people would be welcome.
EDIT: Probably this thread is no-touch for the ladies (though, I know you peek ), but just want to remind them that masturbation is a female thing as well as male, so sharing their ahem.. experiences would be wanted and need I mention, their popuarity on HC would grow headspin.

I tried that once, but clever as I am, I did it in the beginning of the bath... Needless to say, I had to take a good, long, hot shower after, with lots of shampoo involved.

Honestly though, I didnt expect this post from you. If one is open-minded about these things, why would he find anything connected to it "disguisting"? WHat you just said is part of the same pile of sex taboos we get every day from people we meet.
Masturbation on unconventional places is more exciting, just like unconventional sex is, because doing the bath thing every day can get boring.

i had a friend in elementary, a class mate, and he masturbated once on class!
