First of all, switch off Exp share if if you didn't until now. I've done so after the first Gym. After that I practically didn't fight any wild Pokemon, only trainers.

So, I've completed the Delta Episode. It was quite fun actually, definitely better then that Looker s*it in X/Y. Though we're getting two Legendary fights in a row (plus a trainer battle) without an option to save which I find rather inappropriate, especially for those who hunt for Nature's and Shinies...

And another thing bothers me. All this traveling & sweet-talking, and my character didn't even get laid by May

Don't worry about Deoxys as you can, according to what I have read, you can rematch him after beating the League again so you need only to focus on Rayquaza the first time and kill Deoxys.

I freakin' hate May! I was very close to play as a female, just to not have to go throught the pain of her cutscenes. She is so freakin' annoying and she has the nerve to act like she is the girlfriend of the Hero of Hoenn and has deluded herself that we travelled together. Such a little B! I miss the days of Gary Oak/Blue...

Yeah she is very annoying. If she wants to get f*cked, she should be more straightforward about it...

I'm joking of course, it's not that I'm interested in 12-year olds and their love problems...

And about Deoxys. Naah what's done is done (if I would've known about it then maybe...), I even used a Master Ball on him, cause my last Quick Ball didn't work, and I was afraid I'll kill him... I know MB should be kept, buy I didn't have a choice unfortunately...

May is indeed friend zoned.. Or well... Basicly my character never spoke a word to her, and well, she just thinks my character and her are friends.. oh well.. Girls.

So I just caught Ray and deoxys - Truly a nice little prolog quest thingy. Now all I need to do is collect some more legendaries. And have a full team nt just four super powerful pokemon..

My team through most of the game till I've beaten Pokemon League.

Sceptile (my starter)
Metagross (my first ever shiny Yeah I know, everyone has it...)
Walrein (I exchanged my Sharpedo for it. It's nice, but mostly got it because I made it into my "Vessel": Surf+Waterfall+Dive)
Flygon (first time I've ever had one in my team, but seriously I don't know from where is this hype coming from, he wasn't that useful, and his HP is a laugh. Maybe I'm doing sth wrong here?)
Exploud (I didn't want to take it again, but nostalgia prevailed. His nothing special (though his Hyper Voice is quite strong), but him being one of my all-time favorite Poke's I said to myself: why not?)
Groundon (well, daa! It replaced my Camerupt which was a really good Pokemon on it's own, but Groudon, having a similiar moveset and being stronger, was a natural choice)

After PL I'm experimenting with various Legendaries, cause it's the first time ever I can have so many of them in one team!

Thank you

Wauw. I really love Walrein, do not have it on my team yet. He was one of my personal favorites and were on all my Ruby teams

Exploud.. I never, almost, do not use normal types. I find them utterles useless.

Metagross is a no brainer indeed. Such a powerful pokemon, and I have the shiny as well, though I do not really like it. The normal looks better to me.

If you need help with the legendaries just say, I have quite a few of them laying around in the bank. I can always borrow them to you.

Unfortunately, his available late game (before 7th Gym), but I still managed to incorporate him (her ) into my team.

Actually, maybe it's only me, but I think they've boosted Normal types in those past few years. Poke's like Slaking are really hard to deal with, and their attacks pack quite a punch (like Exploud's Hyper Voice I mentioned before). Plus, I don't remember Ghost attacks having no effect on Normal types. I find it really strange...

On the contrary, it's one of the few shinies I find better looking then the original.

Borrow hmm. If it's possible I would really like to have Zekrom and Lugia. I can give you a Ho-Oh for Lugia if you want, and Reshiram for Zekrom (but first I gotta catch one ). I don't need them for Pokes like Giratina or Kyurem. I want them in my team for keeps if possible. I thought that I could trade them for their version specific counterparts in Global Trade, but to my surprise, no one want's such trades...

I will try out maybe Exploud or find another normal type I like. Then I'll return with more info

The problem is I need Lugia and Thundurus And I got all the other ones. I do have two reshirams and two kyurums if you want one

But as far as I can see we both have Omega Ruby so we get the same legendaries

Yeah, figures.

Hmm, since I'll probably won't be getting one via game maybe that Kyuurem would be nice. But I don't even know what I could give you for it so I'll pass. I'll wait a bit, maybe there's someone who likes Reshiram more then Zekrom

This couldn't be further away from the truth. Normal Type pokémon are among the most versatile, fun pokes you can use. Some examples include (and aren't limited to)

-- Guts Rattata and Guts Swellow: Both are fast as hell and facade tears through everything that isn't ghost or steel. Is that a problem? No, Rattata has Sucker Punch and Super Fang; Swellow has Brave Bird and U-Turn<;

-- Snorlax: This thing has monstrous stats especially HP, ATK and SpDef. Give it an Assault vest and Power-up Punch and wreck up after set up. You can it give it stockpile and turn it into a tank, or belly drum and give it max attack. Or give it both + Rest/chesto Do you know what +6 STAB return from an Adamant Snorlax does? You only survive that if you're a ghost or an Aggron. +6 Crunch obliterates both.

-- Furfrou: its base stats are squishy but it takes HALF damage form physical moves. Plus it has cotton guard. Furfrou with +6 def effectively takes an EIGHTH of all the physical damage it receives. Nothing gets through it once Furfrou has set up Cotton Guards, and even without the boosts Assault Vest furfrou especially can sweep an NU team with Echoed voice if you're not careful.

-- Chansey, Blissey and Kanga: you're literally the first (and probably only) person who will ever refer to these pokes as useless.

-- Spinda: Contrary + Skill Swap is a fun gimmick in doubles; Every tried swapping Contrary to Arcanine, which has both Close Combat and Overheat?

-- Cincchino: a top-notch choice pokémon. Jolly with either a band or a scarf can KO a lot of pokes before they can do anything bad. King's Rock Cincchino has a 40% chance of flinching you with Tail Slap. Only Togekiss and Dunsparce have better odds thanks to serene grace.

-- Persian: I can't think of a better scout pokémon. Fake-Out + U-Turn gives you so much momentum

-- Dunsparce: not great in singles, but i've used it in game and in doubles. If Dunsparce sets up with Coil or Calm Mind, it can wreck. Did I also mention it gets glare and can paralyze (and paraflinch) ground types?

-- Staraptor: It's fast, hits harder than Talonflame AND it has Steel/Rocky coverage. Why aren't you using one?

-- Lopunny: Scrappy + High Jump Kick/Return. Not a single pokémon in the metagame isn't hit at least neutrally by either.

-- Exploud: Scrappy + Boomburst from Quiet Specs Exploud = you die.

.... I could continue.

I HATE Walrein beyond reason!
It is very durable and it has an 80% chance of insta-killing you with two different such moves. How can so much bull**** exist within a single pokemon?!?!

Normal types on the other hand rocks! Immunity to ghost and stab normal moves is pretty sweet even though fighting weakness and no super effective attacks hurt a little more. There should be many more dual normal types besides those lame birds.

I used a lot of different pokes through my game. Among them, discounting legendaries, are...
Gift pokes: Gyarados(Caveat), Gardevoir(Diantha), Hariyama(Darrell), Vivillion(SUM2014), Farfetch'd(Cliff), Steelix(Farris), Metagross(shiny), Cosplay Pikachu and Sceptile.
Bred pokes: Machoke, Breloom(x3), Pidgeot, Azumarill, Typhlosion, Delphox, Haunter(shiny) and Whimsicott.

They would make the game so much more fun for EVERYONE by removing the IV feature. It only exists as a way to seperate casuals and elites at everyones expense.

I really need a fire type really. I have always loved those.. and an electric, but I am trying not to take the same ones I always use..

What do you guys think about the fixed line in POkemon league?

I actually quite liked the choose the one you wanted to fight yourself. It was to me more fun.

I think Camerupts the best choice here. His sturdy, and can be teached both powerful Fire moves (before Flamethrower I think Lava Plume is quite powerful) and Ground ones (like Earthquake, of course). His weaknesses are obvious, but hey, Fire and Ground cover the same ones no? On the other hand, there are some Pokes that you can teach moves like Flamethrower or Thunderbolt, so I don't find a Fire type that irreplaceable (though truth be told, there aren't that many to choose from without trade in ORAS).

Only time will tell if Gamefreak will ever change the formula. I really like Norman's idea of a Dojo in which you choose your path. Some of those stat-oriented Poke' were really troublesome, for instance that "charming" Delcatty was irritating They should try implementing sth like that with PL (and more Gyms!), because in each of the Pokemon games (with exclusion of Silver and Gold remakes) at least one or more types don't have a chance to shine...

Plus they really should make a Hard mode available and right from the start. Not only higher levels, but harder movesets and IV's Pokes with better items. I really would like for GF to cut the crab about the game being for younger players, we all know that some adults are playing it professionally (some of them being raised of Pokemon games ).
