Quacklin' by any chance? I used mine on Y as a False Swipe slave.
Of course, Quacklin'/Farfetch'd is awesome but as everyone agrees on, it desperatly needs and deserves an evolution or mega.

Sooo, what's the deal with Quacklin?
I've see there's a video on Youtube, but it's a little bit long. Can anyone tell me in short what gives?

There's nothing too special about Quacklin'. It's merely the Farfetch'd you get for free in X//Y.
The thing is, because NOBODY uses Farfetch'd in game (it is rare and very weak), a lot of people thought the pokémon itself was called Quacklin'.
One of my favourite Farfetch'd anecdotes however is that it is has become such a rare poke in Kanto because instead of catching it, people have been hunting it and serving it with leeks <3

I think Camerupts the best choice here. His sturdy, and can be teached both powerful Fire moves (before Flamethrower I think Lava Plume is quite powerful) and Ground ones (like Earthquake, of course). His weaknesses are obvious, but hey, Fire and Ground cover the same ones no? On the other hand, there are some Pokes that you can teach moves like Flamethrower or Thunderbolt, so I don't find a Fire type that irreplaceable (though truth be told, there aren't that many to choose from without trade in ORAS).
emilsn91 said: What do you guys think about the fixed line in POkemon league?
I actually quite liked the choose the one you wanted to fight yourself. It was to me more fun.
Only time will tell if Gamefreak will ever change the formula. I really like Norman's idea of a Dojo in which you choose your path. Some of those stat-oriented Poke' were really troublesome, for instance that "charming" Delcatty was irritating They should try implementing sth like that with PL (and more Gyms!), because in each of the Pokemon games (with exclusion of Silver and Gold remakes) at least one or more types don't have a chance to shine...
Plus they really should make a Hard mode available and right from the start. Not only higher levels, but harder movesets and IV's Pokes with better items. I really would like for GF to cut the crab about the game being for younger players, we all know that some adults are playing it professionally (some of them being raised of Pokemon games ).
Yeah. I love Camerupt as well one of my Gen 3 favorites. Used it a lot back in the days.
I really hope that Gamefreak gives us a hardmode from the start as well. B&W was better in difficulty, which I loved.
And then more post game challenges.. A stronger Elite four that you cannot just run through with mega blaziken Sorry that was my X experience.
I Do not know about the Norman thing. I was never a big fan with that guy. I think he was a strong gym leader, but not a fun gym.

Haha, I've always thought about it being a boring Pokemon, way back since 1st Generation. He even irritated me in the anime
Well, apart from some of them being useful for some, I don't use no-evolution Pokemon. But, if they gave Quacklin' a Mega Evo, then who knows?

No evolution pokémon are generally pretty strong in the early-mid game. It's foolish to discount them.
I don't often use them either, but that is because most pokémon have evolutions and the ones that do evolve are generally stronger anyway. (unless they're bugs or rodents).
that being said though, I'd much rather have REGULAR Evolutions for things like Dunsparce, Farfetch'd, Girafarig, Qwilfish, Delibird, Spinda, Stantler, Seviper, Zangoose, Relicanth, Tropius, Carnivine, Maractus, Heatmor or Hawlucha before they introduce a mega for them. (all of the above pokes are usable, but they definitely need set-up before they can be used competetively or in-game even.)

Today I have tried to catch Ho-oh, Regiice, Registeel, Uxie and Cobalion. I have only suceeded in catching Ho-oh . I have never known that getting a legendary can be such a pain in the butt.

Yeah the "Regi" trio was the hardest imo. Firstly I wonder how anyone could think of the way to catch them without reading a guide beforehand. I mean, using Pokemon moves on unmarked spaces in ruins with some strange Braile-like coding on stone tablets
Beside nab him, jab him, tab him, grab him, stop that Pige... Regi now! (paraphrasing: even with reducing them to 1 HP and making them sleep, I had to use at least 15 dusk balls on each). And aside from them being decent tanks they're not really worth it imo...

Messages written on tablets in Braile explain exactly what should be done in order to catch Regi trio. I translated the whole text in Sealed chamber and the tablet said explicitly "Relicanth at the beginning, Wailord at the end" (this is just a paraphrase but the message was still held). I guess that in case of every other Regi cave this still holds.

So it was real info written in Braile. Figures... damn those Ancients were thoughtful of the handicapped
PS: This just occurred to me. I wondered why there are only five type-specific trainers in the Battle Resort. Well it seems they cover the types that are absent from gym/PL in ORAS. I don't suppose it's a groundbreaking discovery, but it's nice to see things covered in the game.

Game was fun, but sadly just as expected: a higher graphics version of the old GBA game. The Delta episode was enjoyable, but rather short.
