Are you using 1.4.1? There was bug with hero interaction in 1.4.0

Haven't heard / experienced anything like this.
Can you try to describe this in more details?

Also - what platform do you have? Windows? Android? Something else?
Are you playing in windowed mode or in fullscreen?



yes im using the latest version, getting stuck at the beach is weird and neevr hapened to me

That is definitely weird.
Can you upload saved game with this problem?
Saves should be in Documents/My Games/VCMI/Saves

Yep. It did got some improvements, so should play better than nullkiller in 1.2 / 1.3, but still the best one.

i've found a copule of bad decisions related to towns.

1- Enemy hero didnt take my free town.
2- I distracted an enemy hero to leave a city and attack one of my weak heroes, and then he couldn't be able to return during the day, so I took the city with another one who was a little further away than the attacked weak hero.

Next release will be 1.4.3 - not much progress has been made yet towards this release, but so far less than 10 crashfixes and a bit more of non-crash bugs fixed. Creature statistics window in battle has been implemented. Now we almost don't have missing H3 features other than bugs in existing stuff - most notable missing things are probably "replay opponent's turn" and gosolo cheat.

Can the 3rd upgrade mod be made to work with Hota?

How about other Wog features like unit leveling, commanders, etc?

I like hota the most but would enjoy to pick and choose additions from other mods.

No - HotA is unmoddable by design, and VCMI is the platform that is supposed to be better h3 engine and unify modding so from my point of view most practical solution would be improving the VCMI hota port to get what you need

well precisely, I was wondering if the VCMI port of HotA will ever be able to allow extra customizations on top?
Would be quite the neat feature.

It already does, everything a mod adds can be further modified on top of it.

I have no mods installed, just VCMI extras.

So, there must be a problem with VCMI 1.4.3., or the newest Extras mod 3.5.3.

You mean hota factory style? Will probably be implemented at some point. Hopefully - this year. But depends on available developer time so hard to say when.
