Quote: If there would be an aquatic faction you wouldn't be able to play with them on maps where the terrain is sand or where the climate is dry because if you would get too far from your town all your creatures would die.
You have a point, however it's REALLY easy to solve and not a big problem. (before I say anything, many people argue that they would be useless because of the town only being located at sea; well, how about it ALWAYS BEING ON THE COAST? Therefore having instant access to sea AND land, and so basically having no handicap compared to other factions.). As you mentioned about the dry desert, well, it's only a game after all and we had such unlogical combinations before (look at the H5 Fortress thick-coated mammoth, in real life he'd boil to death with his fur that's suited for snow ) but that's not the point, and I had absolutely no problem with that. BESIDES, if you want some technical/logical explanation to them being able to move on land(and especially hot areas), they could have a natural "teleport" spell/ability, OR the hero(presumably a Naga him/herself) could simply ride an animal(e.g. a massive terrestrial turtle) or even a flying one(like a coatl) so not having too much contact with the ground anyways
To summarise my main point - terrestrial factions(all apart from Naga faction) would obviously DROWN in sea, so?...they use BOATS
It would be kind of vice-versa with the Naga, they'd have difficulty travelling on land, so?...why not give them their "boat"?
Lastly, COME ON people, Naga aren't FISH, they're half-snake, half-human, so I don't agree with most of you that moving on land would be a total CATASTRPHE for them...what about all the Nagas in previous HOMMs? They're safe and well, oh, look - the Naga in HOMM3 had to move about in SNOW! now that's a feat for your "fish"
Anyone agrees?

Kinda cool idea, but I think it fits more as necropolis ability
Maybe something similar, for example that the units under the effect of the nightmares sleep randomly attacks a friendly units in same team. Kinda like frenzy or something.

Okey I'm fine if the Inferno has nightmares in their faction, but only if they look like this

Look at those cool creatures which are supposed to be a Unicorn Hunter
That's a creature that would fit perfect in heroes.

Here is my suggestion for a creature which could replace the Breeder. Tell me what you think about it.
Gatekeepers
Inferno
2x2
Mana Steal - Every time a hero casts a spell the Gatekeepers steal some mana form the hero's mana pool.
Gate Imps - Once per turn the Gatekeepers can gate Imps to the battlefield.
Imps
Inferno
1x1
Sneaky - Imps deal more damage if they hit an enemy from behind.
Blood Mana - Imps give mana to the hero when they deal damage to an enemy.
Coward - Imps move away as far as posibile from the creature which dealt damage to them, and they do not retaliate.

Quote: I'd rather see the breeder, I love the idea of a monster based on the Echidna from greek mythology and the deepspawn from D&D.
The breeder is based on Shub-Niggurath, actually her Thousand Young, if I understood Elvin correctly.
They are the "little" tree-like monsters in this image:
I wonder if they will make a Shub-Niggurathian Boss, as some Grandmother Breeder. Maybe it could spawn breeders and imagine at the imps it could spawn, oh, the possibilities...

Aatos your idea is not bad but if I wear to chose from the Gatekeeper and Breeder I would go with the Breeder, just makes more seen with my concept of what Chaotic creature should be.
Nightterror an ability like the Deepspawn has could be really awesome, I mean it could consume a stack of dead creature and replicate some (based on some formula), in the process destroying the stack and making it impossible to resurrect/reanimate them (I would reduce some of the benefits of Heaven and Necromancers).
Regarding the hole both babe business, Boys will be boys and always have a reaction seeing beautiful women especially more undressed than dressed, and in marketing business s.. sells so can’t really understand the reaction it created, I just tried to look at it with humor.

I liked H5 initiative system a lot. It was just like FFX system.
Having more actions/turns than you opponent if you have a lot more of initiative was a great system, because having only one action per turn, makes the highests initiatives only valuable against other high initiatives. If you face an opponent with 3 initiative, it doesn't matter if you have 4 initiative or 987923847986875235987340598790862389746987689761293847987290384798138762354978623948790871782535674723847exp(2394879087) initiative. You will only act once per turn and the supposed cost that you pay for this creature having a high initiative is wasted money.

I think the H3 system is the best because it is completely free from randomness. It also puts a lot of importance to high speed units, because they allow the hero to act first. When the order of which the hero use to act are decided by the units, it contribute to a nice system.

A system with both speed and initiative gives more interesting possibilities, it just depends on how you implement it. If you don't give random initiative at start and limit to only one action per turn you don't have any randomness and you can have stuff like a low speed guard creep which can move into position before a charger rushes in
Opens up a lot of windows.
