I want the storyline to not be as jumpy as Black 2—though if it was that way because the better developers were all working on Gen VI, I suppose I can forgive them.
More type combos would of course be nice, and I'd like more Psychic types that aren't so...weird-looking.  I'd also like a reason to train more than six Pokemon—maybe tournaments like some of the other games have, where Pokemon have to be under X height or weight to get in? And something to do with my Pokemon besides battling; Contests were nice, in this respect, and the Pokethalon too, but Musicals weren't nearly involved enough.
Edit: Also, anyone think we're going to see the appearance of whatever Pokemon Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem split out of this Gen?

Well, I never played B/W 2 and Gen V was the first where I never made it to the Elite 4, so I don't realy know what went down afterward.
So I that light, I hope they do something with the leveling curve in Gen VI.
As for Psychics looking weird, I disagree for nearly all of the first 3 Gens, see your point for some of the 4th and 5th Gen. But then again, I'm not that bothered by that. Besides, ever since Gen 3, Psychics have realy gone down hill as far as power goes. They weren't the allmighty Gods they were in the first 2 gens and that's a good thing too.
Another thing, I very much hope we get viable Ice pokemon this Gen. The last two realy put an effort into making them suck monkeys.

I had a thought...with Gen VI out, it will now be possible to have a team of nothing but f.ex the Grass starters, with no repeats.

If you were so inclined, I suppose so. But the same could be said for the water and fire starters.
Not sure why you'd want to, though. Unless you try to come across as some kinda gym-leader.

It's kind of obvious if you ask me. Look at that thing, and tell me it does not have some kind of tragic past? It must be a ghost type. I know some would say it looks psycho, but that'd just be dark.
On the other hand, I see your point. Most eevee's, apart from Espeon, can be identified on their colour scheme, but maybe they'll introduce a new type, or it'll be the first dual type. Not to mention, while prior to Gen III, I could pretty much always guess the type based on the color, when playing Gen III, I several times used ineffective attacks in battles, because pokemen wasn't always coloured according to their type. So it might be another example of that.
Otherwise I'd guess primary flying and secondary steel.

Hrmmh, just what we need, another eeveelution. And the worst one to date as well. The ribbons and bows, ugh. Also looks like one of those pokemon which are designed for contests and those kinds of non-battle things. On the bright side, I'm gonna love bashing it's skull in.
Unless X&Y introduce a new type, I assume it will be a Normal type.

You know, with the new elements of light and sound coming out, the new eeveelution could easily be one of them. :/ (most likely light, unless it has more bells than I remember on it).

From what I can gather on Bulbapedia, it has yet to be confirmed or denied that this actually is Mewtwo or something related. All we know ATM is that they have something to do with eachother.
On another note, since when have Light and Sound been confirmed as to be introduced types? And what kind of cop-out type is Sound?

Yes, however:
1.) Mewtwo is supposed to appear in the next movie. While at the time it wasn't IMPOSSIBLE that they were including him because he's a popular character with a lot of story potential (my understanding is that they've been getting better at the whole 'overarching plot' thing with B/W), now that this has been revealed it seems a lot more likely they're throwing him in for "Mew2 haz a knew forme GO BUY R GAME SO U KIN UZ IT!!!ONE' marketing.
2.) According to Pokebeach, here, their marketing said "we had not seen the real Mewtwo yet" which screams new form to me.
3.) The official site has this little timeline at the bottom, and the picture of the form/whatever is at the end of it, labeled with "A New Chapter."
So yes, it is still possible they'll come out later and say, "Psych! That's actually Mewthree!" But signs and portents aren't pointing in that direction. :\
As for Light/Sound...are you getting this from a source gnomes or just speculation?

I sure hope it's Mewthree. Cause this would be the first pokemon with a new form that looks nothing like the previous incarnation.

Shaymin didn't really look anything like itself, and the storm-causing trio didn't either. Working with the Forme theory though, they might be pulling the same thing with Mewtwo and Genesect as they did with Kyurem and Reshiram/Zekrom--that loop thing reminds me of Genesect's cannon, and the eyes are red too. But I'd personally prefer Mewthree; it's an uncreative idea, but one that's been around since Gen I.

At least those form differences were clearly the same pokemon in another form. This is exactly the opposite, the same form, different guy. Which sucks monkeys.
But then again, ain't nothing we can do about it. Just wait and see. And we can always choose not to catch the thing. Which I am planning with the new eeveelution.
Edit: Something that came to me. I want the new Evil Team to up to scratch, Damn it.
I mean Team Rocket were good. They were a plain old fashioned bad guys. They were organised crime. To them, pokemon were weapons.
Team Aqua and Team Magma were pretty good, compared. The rivalry was nice. And they were eco-terrorists, of sorts. Best of all these two made fething sense!
Team Galactic was stupid. Their goal was played far too late and just plain old stupid, they were not present enough, had near no impact and no personality. And have I said they were stupid, yes, well it stands to be reiterated.
Team Plasma was unbeleiveable, so they sucked monkeys as well. They follow some guy that showed up on their doorstep which is stupid and makes you wonder what they were doing before, and their hypocrisy was plain cringeworthy.
So be let it be like the earlier gens, please.

On villains: N was interesting (although admittedly not much of an outright villain). I agree the hypocrisy of the Grunts was blatant though. "We want to free the Pokemon!" *kick**kick**kick*
Tangent: I want ALL the trainers to be up to scratch. I'm sick and tired of having to get all the way to the CHAMPION before I run into a trainer with six Pokémon who isn't me! Even the Elite Four only had four each!
And I'm also rather tired of running into trainers who have Pokémon solely so they'll be 'seen' in the Pokedex, it's very obvious what they're doing. If they don't want me trading in a level 100 Arceus before the first Gym, don't unlock out-region trading until after the Elite Four or something instead. The current method makes it tedious trading for event Pokémon that never show up at all, and it even made it very difficult to get some perfectly normal Pokemon that shouldn't be so hard to get—I'm looking at you, Rufflet!
Some way to tell beforehand when I'm about to be plunged into a Triple or Rotational Battle would be nice, too.
