Mark Your Territory - The Revival
CURRENT MYT EVENTS:
ROUND 6: CONTEST PHASE
Mark Your Territory
Contestants: Lord_Woock, RedSoxFan3
For this challenge, the competitors must describe how they would literally "mark their territory". You each have your own territory but like every good dog, you want to lift your leg and piss on that which does not belong to you in order to make it your own. The countries are Woockvania and the United Territories of Red Sox...you shouldn't have any trouble figuring out which belongs to who. Any form of description may be given. Pictures are a plus as are gruesome descriptions. Be somewhat realistic. No fantasy or magic.
Tell a Joke
Contestants: MightyMage, Oscarius
Come up with 3 jokes that involve members from HC. The first joke must be a one-liner. The second joke will contain a one-sentence question followed by a punchline. The final joke will contain a story of at least 100 words ending in a punchline.
Examples:
One-liner - Your mama’s so fat…
Q/A - How many cheerleaders does it take to screw in a lightbulb…
Story - Val, Pandora, and Mightymage walk into a bar…
What do you see in the picture?

Describe what you see in the picture. Being accurate, creative, or funny are all possible routes to winning this contest.
Neverwinter KNights

Imagine an alternate reality where this game is called Neverwinter KNights. Describe how the game would be different.
Who would win?
Contestants: TheDeath, Asheera
Submit 3 pictures, one of a person, one of a creature, and one of an object, all of which you think is unbeatable. (person vs person, creature vs creature, object vs object)
Once the contest has been posted, players are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to post arguements in favor of his or her entries.
The person who posts the entries that will beat its respective opponent or posts the most convincing arguement wins.

The Contest:
Create the best idea for a new thread at HC. It can be a thread from any forum. You may choose to make a knock-off or parody of an existing thread. Please include the name of your thread and the forum in which it belongs and whether or not is it a knock-off or a parody. If it is provide a link to the original thread.
Each contestant may submit up to 2 threads. This will leave room for 2 funny threads, 2 serious threads, or one of each for each.
INTRODUCTION:
The goal of this thread is to own your favorite threads in all of HC. If someone owns a thread that you want, you must challenge that person for that particular thread and the thread organizer will create a contest inspired from that particular thread.
For example, contests over "What Do You See In The Picture?" are usually a caption making contest or involve some sort of interpretation of a picture.
Often times there are 'cliques' in HC where certain groups of people hang out and post in certain threads. If a person foreign to that clique challenges for one of their threads, it is likely that all the cronies will gang up and make sure that person doesn't win that thread.
Game Format:
The game is divided up in Rounds and then into Phases.
Each round contains a Claims Phase, a Contest Phase and a Voting Phase.
Claims Phase:
During the Claims Phase, you can either claim an unclaimed thread or challenge the owner for the thread that you want. You may only choose one thread to claim or to challenge.
Contest Phase:
The thread organizer will post contests for each challenge that was made in the main thread. Once the challenges have been posted, a deadline will be set for all contestants to submit their entries.
If you have been challenged for a thread, the contest organizer will make sure to send you an HCM just in case you have not been keeping up with the thread. Otherwise don't expect any reminders.
All players who are not involved in a contest may still make additional moves during the Contest Phase. These moves include Guerilla Tactics, Reinforcement, and Exploration. For more information on these, please see the Advanced Rules Section.
Voting Phase:
The thread organizer will post all contest with all submitted entries in the Entries Thread.
Advanced Rules:
1.) You may challenge a person for one thread or claim an unclaimed thread once each round. NOT BOTH!!!
2.) If a challenge is made and the proceeding contest results in a tie. The defender will win the contest and retain his or her thread.
3.) The first person to claim an unclaimed thread in a round will immediately own that thread. All other people who claim that thread afterwards will have to challenge for that thread.
4.) Being challenged for a thread does not count toward your own claim or challenge.
5.) Guerilla Tactics - You may use Guerilla Tactics to join a single contest in an attempt to steal the thread. You may only do this if you are not participating in any contests. In other words, if someone challenged you or you challenged someone already, then you can't do this.
6.) Reinforcement - You may assist any player involved in a contest. Votes for your entry will be added to his or her total. You may only do this if you are not participating in any contests. (same as Guerilla Tactics)
7.) Diplomacy - Conditional and Unconditional treaties may be signed where threads can be sold for future Reinforcement and Guerilla Tactics actions. (Conditional would be, I give thread A if the attack is successful; Unconditional would be, I give thread B up front regardless of outcome)
8.) Exploration - So long as a player is not involved in a challenge, that player may claim an additional unowned thread after contests have been posted. If a player declares exploration on a thread before you that thread is immediately owned and no longer subject to legal exploration.
Challenges:
1.) The Challenge begins with me posting a challenge. Such challenges in the past have been a tossing contest, drawing the worst chicken scratch, creating the coolest word (my personal favorite, this will have to be revived), and many more.
1a.) I will attempt to make the challenge somehow related to the thread that the challenge is for.
2.) You will have a set time (24-48 hrs) to submit your entries, with all bb code included via HCM. Make sure you disable the bb code when you send it.
3.) I will post both entries in VW. The HC population will vote for their favorite entry. A poll will not be created due to alias accounts being used. Therefore, there will not be an anonymous voting system.
3a.) There will be 24 hours to vote and the contest entrants may vote for themselves or anyone else in the contest. Thus if you are ganging up on someone it would be useful to boost the person with the highest vote count at the very end of the 24 hour period.

You should probably specify the timing things in the first post, like how long a round lasts, how much time to submit entries, how much time to vote on entries and such.

Round 1 Begins...
You have exactly 24 hours to make any claims or challenges. At this time, I will post contests and you will have another 24 hours to submit your entries. Then I will post the Contest and its entries into a Volcanic Wastelands Thread where people will have another 24 hours to vote.
The entire process will take 3 days unless people submit their entries quickly.
Send me an HCM claiming the thread of your choice. Please provide a link to the thread.
Disable the BB Code in the HCM you send to me so I can copy paste it. If you don't know how to do this Read Section 13 of the BB Code Guide.
If you can't figure it out or are a lazy bum, just send the link w/o any BB Code and I'll do it for you.

I have added some new rules to the game to improve the overall interaction of the game.
The following rules apply only to those who are not already participating in a contest for any particular round.
New Rules for Non-Contestants:
These rules can be applied for any player not currently involved in a contest. Players may not choose multiple contests or threads in which to involve themselves for any given round.
Guerrila Tactics - Join a contest in an attempt to steal the thread.
Righteous Defenders - Help the owner of a thread by joining a contest. Votes for your entry will be added to his or her total.
Relentless Crusade - The opposite of Righteous Defenders. Join the assault on someone's thread by supporting one of the challengers. Votes for your entry will be added to his or her total.
Scorched Earth - So long as a player did not challenge anyone for a thread, that player may forfeit all contests to apply Guerilla Tactice, Righteous Defenders, or Relentless Crusade.
Diplomacy - Conditional and Unconditional treaties may be signed where threads can be sold for defending, attacking, or guerilla tactic services. (Conditional would be, I give thread A if the attack is successful; Unconditional would be, I give thread B up front regardless of outcome)
Exploration - So long as a player is not involved in a challenge, that player may claim an additional unowned thread after contests have been posted. Should two people declare exploration on the same thread, there will be a resulting contest in the following round. Those players may still make any normal claims or challenges in the following round as if they were not involved in a contest.
An Aside Note on the New Rules:
Righteous Defenders and Relentless Crusade may only be used if the thread is currently owned by someone. This means that this round, Relentless Crusade and Righteous Defenders cannot be used. Only Guerrila Tactics may be used. So for those not participating, feel free to apply the Guerrila Tactics rule and try to steal some threads. 
Need Feedback on the New Rules:
Normally in the past, if I am involved in a challenge, I would have another person create the contest. However, I have created both contests. Would it be fair for me to apply these rules and join in on a contest that I created or should I refrain from these using these rules?
