It is not multiculturalism that is the problem.  It is a specific culture.  The culture that insists all the world must convert to Islam and live under Sharia law or die.  Please note I am not saying all or most Muslims are jihadists.

The fifth column in western nations are the Muslims here who hold to that "convert or die" ideology.  They do not see us as fellow citizens but as enemies of Allah.

When the West allows massive immigration of people who see us as enemies of their god we are beheading ourselves.

Not all Muslims have the "convert or die" ideology.  Those can live peacefully with other cultures.  But Sharia Law is not comparable with democracy.  The West must carefully consider who it allows to immigrate to our nations if we wish for the civilization we built not to be destroyed from within.

In addition to vetting immigrants we need to monitor the meetings in mosques that are open to the public.  This will show us which mosques are preaching jihad.  Imams preaching jihad are essentially recruiting enemy soldiers to attack us on our on soil.  Every citizen who becomes a jihadist has become a traitor as has everyone who provided material support to the jihadist.

These acts of Islamic terror are not simple crimes.  They are acts of war on western civilization.  Our politicians must openly declare this and we must treat the terror attacks as such.

The mass rapes now occurring in the West are also jihad designed to intimidate us into becoming Sharia law compliant.

No, I am not bloodthirsty and no, Christianity is not calling for the world to convert to Christianity Or die.

It is "charity and goodness" to acknowledge that war is being waged on the West.  Being a Christian does not mean ignoring the truth but living by the truth.  I will not stand by silently and speak politically correct platitudes as j ... post shortened to 2000 characters.

The war on western civilization continues while the West is "lead" by politically correct buffoons incapable or unwilling to see and speak the truth.

Without very right control of immigration barbarians are streaming through the gates to join the Fifth Column already in our nations.

Old Covenant vs New Covenant

Of course the Old Testament Scriptures are not irrelevant.  There is much we can learn from them. But the New Testament is "more relevant" to Christians because the New Testament Scriptures contains the teachings that are specifically for Christians, who are under the New Covenant of Jesus rather than the Old Covenant of Moses. Once a Christian has a good knowledge of the New Testament Scriptures he can study the Old Covenant Scriptures and see the beautiful harmony of the Scriptures and truths that lie beneath surface meanings.  We learn line upon line, precept upon precept.  As we study and live truths we learn we are able to see other truths.

The Old Covenant given through Moses required animal sacrifices. Animal sacrifices could not remove sin but "covered" sin until Jesus, the final sacrifice of sin fulfilled (completed) the Old Covenant. The Old Covenant, having been fulfilled, is old.  No longer in effect.  The Old Covenant ceremonial law  about hand washings, animal sacrifices, "clean" and "unclean" foods, various feasts, ect, were relevant for Old Covenant people but the Old Covenant is no longer in effect.  These things the Bible calls "types and shadows" that pointed to Christ.  Christ, the ultimate reality these things foreshadowed, has come.

The Old Covenant also had had civil laws that were only intended for governing the nation of Israel.  These civil laws do not apply to Christians.   The church of Jesus is not a geographical nation like the nation of Israel.

I should not have to say this, but new is not old.  Old is not new.  Jesus established the NEW Covenant, which differs from the OLD Covenant or it would not be New.

Jesus gave us the "sacrament" of communion to celebrate the New Covenant (New Testament) that came into effect with his death and resurrection.  The Old Covenant was completed, the New began.

I will try to briefly answer your questions.

1)  In beginning, God created all things material and immaterial.  He is the First Cause of all things.  God fills and transcends the universe.

God created one man & one woman to begin the human race.  How long ago he did this the Bible does not say.

The Bible is a book about the redemption of man.  When man sinned he "died" spiritually.  His innocent spirit was now tainted with sin and his ability to hear from,  understand, communicate with God was impaired. Also his relationship with fellow man suffered.

The Bible was written through the infallible inspiration of God.  It has a number of human authors  but the Spirit of God is the ultimate author.

The Bible is composed of the Old Testament and the New Testament.  The Old Testament covers the time and covenants before Jesus Christ.  The New Testament (Covenant) covers the life of Jesus Christ and the early years of the church he established.

questions under 2

The "Old Testament" is not as relevant to Christians as the "New Testament" is because the OT covers "Old Covenant" times including some things that were only intended for Jews in Israel.

The New Testament is the part of the Bible that is specifically Christian.  Jesus established the New Covenant through his sacrificial death and resurrection.

The New Testament teaches us Jesus is God manifesting himself as a man.  God has always been the ever-present Spirit but 2000 years ago he began to also exist as the man Jesus Christ without ceasing to exist as the Spirit. God existing as a man willingly died as judgement for our sin to make it possible for us to forever live with God. Jesus is today God existing as a glorified man.

You enter the New Covenant relationship with God by being "born again."  The New Testament instructs one to repent of his sin, be baptized in the name of Jesus, and receive the Holy Spirit. To repent of sin is to agree with God that one's actions have been  ... post shortened to 2000 characters.

Why should a basic Constitutional right be licenced at all?  Everyone should be free to carry a gun openly or concealed, no liscense required.

The vast majority of times when you may need a gun for self defense no cop is going to be around.

I have a right to live so I have a right to defend my life.  That is ONE of the reasons for the Second Ammendment.  Another to to deter government tyranny.  Thomas Jefferson wrote that it is the right and duty of every able bodied citizens to be at all times armed.  An armed population will mitigate crime, terrorism, and tyranny.  As acts of terror continue to increase in frequency & severity it becomes more & more important for everyone to be armed.  We must be as determined to defend ourselves and others as terrorists are to kill us.

Those who hate the thought of other people carrying guns should just live in states that oppress Constitutional rights and pretend that makes them safer.

Gun free zones create danger, not safety.

Oh, and the Dallas shooter was shooting from a garage, not from the street where some folks were marching armed.

Things race pimping democrats do not want you to know.

Clicky

Whatever the reasons of the two cop-black shootings were it does not justify the murder of white cops and shooting of white civilians in Dallas.

It is bigotry to paint cops as bigots.  Cops of every race put their lives on the line for all races.  In the shootings in Dallas the cops ran towards the shootings and tried to protect even the protesters there who hated them.

The demonizing by the left of cops is morally reprehensible.  One of the many reasons Hillary must never be POTUS.

A month or so before Hillary announced her campaign to be POTUS Bill Clinton said identity politics is a poison that is destroying our nation.  But he has not had the courage to stand up and denounce his wife for being the Queen of identity politics.

Last night the identity politics and cop hatred preached by the democrat party, including Obama and Hillary resulted in the shooting of 12 cops in Dallas.  5 police officers are dead.

Hillary is on camera lying under oath to Congress.  Three times. FBI said they did not investigate that because nobody asked them to.  Congress has now asked them to.

But she won't be charged.  She was not charged for mishandling classified material even though she clearly had criminal intent.  If anyone does not believe criminal intent they have to believe she was grossly negligent or a moron.  The FBI directly basically said she is a moron.  "Not as sophisticated as some people believe" he said.

The fix is in.

The Laws of Nature and of Nature's God

In researching the Declaration of Independence and the phrase "the laws of of nature and of Nature's God" it has become quite clear to me that the phrase harkens back to the writings of John Locke.  I had not realized how extensively the writings of Locke were lauded in the colonies and by the Founding Fathers.

Thomas Jefferson said  Locke was as one of "the three greatest men that have ever lived, without any exception."

Thomas Jefferson ranked Locke, along with Locke’s compatriot Algernon Sidney, as the most important thinkers on liberty. Locke helped inspire Thomas Paine’s radical ideas about revolution. Locke fired up George Mason. From Locke, James Madison drew his most fundamental principles of liberty and government. Locke’s writings were part of Benjamin Franklin’s self-education, and John Adams believed that both girls and boys should learn about Locke. The French philosopher Voltaire called Locke “the man of the greatest wisdom. What he has not seen clearly, I despair of ever seeing.”

Ok, some people seem to be unaware that the Bible, theologians. Christian philosopher's, Christian song writers, and Christians in general refer to God by many names, titles and descriptions.

When the Bible speaks of God, the God of life, the God of hope, the God of love, the God of salvation, the God of glory, the God of peace, the God of Israel, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob, the God of comfort, the God of grace, the God of heaven and earth, and so on the Bible is not referring to different Gods.   Such phrases emphasize different aspects of God or how God relates to people in general or how he related to specific person's in the past.  There are well over a thousand ways the One God is revered to in the Bible.

Likewise, Christians of all walks in life refer to God in ways that relate to our lives.  The idea that "God of nature" has to refer to a deist God is simply silly.  Especially when you look at the very non-deist phrases in the DOI.  The DOI simply is not a deist document.  It describes a God who is active and who engages with man.
