what makes it more dangerous is that valeriy isn't here, and i've saw him before but i thought it was a bug how he was nameless, but.... and what is even more bad: mods can't ban him, even if they are here... the question is: why did valeriy make it possible to set these values as null? oh wait the hacker did that...

EDIT: NOTE: he registered 1969.... HE IS STILL ALIVE? by the way did HC exist back then? a dark mystery is here. the shadow of death is upon us! cursing our entire community!

EDIT 2: strange how people doesn't care about what we are talking about, LISTEN, we aren't trolling nor are we lying, nor are we faking, what we are saying is real!

I think, your assessment is massively off-kilter.

Fresh Cream was released in December 1966, and Eric Clapton didn't even co-write one of the songs on that album.
On Disraeli Gears, released 11 months later, Clapton is co-writer on 3 songs, admittedly 3 good ones.
Lastly, the double album Wheels of Fire, released July 1968, that features White Room, again has NO Eric Clapton mention in the credits: again, he didn't even CO-write ONE song on that album, and White Room is NOT a song Eric Clapton has anything to do with, except that he played a fine guitar on it.
Lastly, on the Goodbye Album, he shares credits with George Harrison for Badge.
Creative force with Cream was Jack Bruce.

Which means, that in his time with Cream Eric Clapton Co-Wrote FOUR songs - that's it.

August 1969 saw the release of Blind Faith, with Clapton writing ONE song, Presence of the Lord.

With Delaney and Bonnie he also Co-wrote one song.

Lastly, of the 14 songs comprising the "Layla" album, Clapton wrote ONE alone and Co-wrote another 7, most of them with Bobby Whitlock, but the standout-track Layla was co-written with Jim Gordon (even though the famous lick is obviously by him).

So there is a massive difference here between Clapton and Hendrix, that makes them play in different leagues, whether you like that or not.

Then, about the showmanship. Hendrix was an American, not English, and had toured extensively with people like Little Richard and the Isley Brothers, and you should know how important this kind of showmanship was in the US in comparison. Think about Elvis the Pelvis, think about Jerry Lee Lewis playing the piano with his feet - and for black musicians this kind of showmanship was even more normal, and while playing the circuit he would see and acquire this kind of stuff, to present himself this way at Monterey Pop.

Jimi Hendrix simply has a completely different background, and when he started his solo career he did it as an entertainer, the way he  ... post shortened to 2000 characters.

You AGAIN assume that the opinion of SOME people here has more weight than others, but since art is for consumption of an audience and not for assessing by some kind of judging commission, everyone has their own "taste", and what is a masterpiece for one is gibberish for another. I mean, it's fine if experts agree on the technical mastery of how something was produced and how much time and effort it took, but so what? I mean, the Pyramids are obviously something very special, but thing that they are TOMBS, and about how much work hours, blood sweat and tears those monuments have cost - as mentioned above, they could have fight a war instead, it wouldn't have been more expensive.
So sure, there IS technical mastery in planning and doing it, and the same is true for the Cathedrals and Domes, but they also came with a price, a high price, actually, and to quote Sal, that has its own educational value.
You sure have your own parameters - you mentioned them - but it's YOUR parameters, and, as you said, they are not even measurable.

First of all, that is exactly what everybody does in practice. What matters is your parameters, to know who to consult on what. If this was a thread about chemistry, we would all pay a post by Corribus more attention than others, if the topic was piano concertos in specific, Sal would have extra leverage, and then there are trolls we completely disregard. (And I must remind you, you are much more strict about that than me, not that it's a bad thing, I sometimes envy your ability to ignore, I have a compulsion to reply to things even if they are silly). Second of all, I dont think of experts as a commission of judges but rather like tour guides, you say pyramids are tombs, for a second imagine you didn't know that, and you are traveling Egypt for the first time and some tour guide informs you about that, you now have better understanding about what you see, why is that a bad thing? When I mentioned consensus, I didn' ... post shortened to 2000 characters.

According to my understanding anything stronger than,"I disagree with your position," "I disagree with conservative philosophy because" will be grounds for discipline. Statements like religion was made up by man (which clearly is an offensive statements to religious people), religion is delusion, atheism is irrational, ect seem to certainly be disallowed. At this point I'm not even clear it it is ok to say, "Murder is immoral."

Perhaps moderation can clarify that if that is not the case.

While I'm no mod, I think I can still help.

Everything is okay, that you can make a "non-trivial, non-personal/individual case" for. So let's see:

"Religion was made up by man" is a completely ok statement. Why? Because there are thousands of it, and they can't be all right, can they? So your point would be: true - but NOT MINE (and a couple of others who have problems with understanding of details). So with your religion not being the OLDEST, the first ones would have to have been made up by man.
In short - even if there may be the benefit of the doubt for a specific case, the general situation is, that this is a true statement, and, more importantly, someone claiming it can make a non-trivial, non-personal/individual case for it. (As opposed to this, you make make a case for "person X is an idiot", since you may follow up with a "because" ... "because he said that the world is flat", but the case is not "non-personal/individual" (and generally these are also QUITE trivial as well, as in, "he said Michael Jackson sucks, so he is clearly an idiot").

"Religion is delusion" - somewhat follows from the first one, however this is debatable in the sense that if there IS a godly background for the world, then there would be a correct religion and Man is just searching for the right one, but the idea as such would NOT be delusional. Still, this falls under the same category than above, although the main problem with THIS o ... post shortened to 2000 characters.

Have you actually EVER seen anyone on this forum writing this? Because I honestly never saw a person who thinks so. Here, on other boards, in real life... nowhere.

Maybe it's time to admit that "Loony Liberals" are just a byproduct of your imagination?

Want to prove me otherwise? Quote someone that says criminals should go around unpunished on HC, go ahead.

But it's a lot more gratifying to erect a strawman and then tear it to pieces. You make yourself an unwitting agent in pulling people away from your own viewpoint, but it sure does feel good.

Ultra liberal freak governor Jerry Brown is considering the release of one of the "Manson faimly" murderers because "he earned it" and it is "not fair" for him to still be in prison for the murders of two people.

Poor wittle mistreated murderer.

California Gov. Jerry Brown is considering whether to grant parole to a convicted murderer who followed notorious killer Charles Manson, a spokeswoman for the governor said.

Brown's office received a formal recommendation from the state board parole Friday to release Bruce Davis, 70, who would be the first Manson "family" member to secure freedom solely for good behavior.

.....

Davis was sent to prison on April 21, 1972, for the 1969 first-degree murders of musician Gary Hinman and stuntman Donald "Shorty" Shea. Davis is serving a life sentence.

....

Michael Beckman, Davis' attorney, urged Brown to grant parole.

If the case were not connected to Charles Manson, Davis would have already been released by now, Beckman said. He called it "not fair."
