Ehlesgens art is a fake of Iliveinabox, we also had this false "user" come in the H4 Ultimate discord to start sh*it (always at the same time as Iliveinabox and connected simultaneously saying "iliveinabox is such right, wow"

Again, only lies and fakes come.

Notice how this user never posted anything except for this matter.

The actual "H4 Chronicles" maps were made by ByteBandit, he never demanded their removal or contacted me.

The "text" can not be copyrighted by Iliveinabox since it is copy-pasted straight from H3 Chronicles made over 25 years ago by New World Computing!

To boot this is only a maps, not "content from another mods" used "without credit" (the whole Chronicles readme and credits were always included within the H4 Ultimate distribution). This has been so for three years.

Even failing that, there is still a "Nimo" tag in the object pack with my first objects, which is loaded by defualt in the object pack campaign editor!

The reason v5, v6, v7, and v8 got removed is because you did NOT remove my work from your uploads. You had almost 4 months to do so and chose not to. I tried to do this privately on discord with Brucknerhun so that you wouldn’t get your feelings hurt. What did you tell Brucknerhun when he informed you? Did you just decide you could do whatever you wanted?

None of the above, my favorite might level 7 unit is the Quetzalcoatl and I don't care about anything else but his aesthetics.

I agree the Dreadnoughts could indeed get some changes. Currently, the mech path doesn't seem to be very worth it; The gunslingers aren't anything too special, the ability is kinda neat, but as the stack basically cannot get out of hand and thus it's not that protective layer.Also,at the end of the day they're unit with low hp, and are affected by melee penalty.

The Dreadnoughts could be somewhat viable, but it's just very hard collecting all the crystals. I think there's also quite a bit of gamble; in order to have any chances of buiding the mechs at the end of week 1, the player needs to start the path early on, and really focus on finding the crystals and gold. Because if you've started building the path, and then notice mid-week that it simply not possible, it's very likely you will end up with neither lvl 7 at week one. That's why it's far more simple and fail-safe to just follow the nature path week one, and start adding the mech path units from week 2 onward.

The automaton-mechanic combo feels pretty good thou. Since even the mechanics can repair suprisingly high number per unit, you can put automatons in rough spot, and still end up having a lossless fight, since they can be repaired even if fully destoyed.

However, I disagree with this.

Yes, Conflux is as it is due to an intentional design decision, however this is also a cost-saving decision to make the town composed 4/7 of existing Neutrals and their variations. Also, not like they were going to add 4/5 full towns, they didn't have the resources even if they had wanted. At the end we got only 1 partially unfinished town.

Furthermore, factions can have full roster only with the creatures of Enroth / their own turf as well. In Heroes 4 it is made evident that Efreets are not Kreegans for example, they go their separate ways and separate factions

I'm not sure what this would accomplish other than doing the town all over again. The two 7 level creatures have been there from the start, and Factory has been within the idea of having two high level creatures. Everything should be rethought, and I feel it just wouldn't work.

Factory hasn't been found to be a strong town or anything like that, I'm currently thinking it's quite avarage, possibly leaning towards below-avarage.

Not going to lie, have had really playing the new faction. After all the wait it was still worth that not everything had been revealed, and I have had fun doing some post-release analysis.

What comes to the new lvl 7's, they work bit differently than I expected. The mech path is clearly more expensive, and it seems it's more inconsistent to trying to build in the first week. The Coautls are much more manageable, but oh boy they're not comparable to dragons or angels, and unlike them they are much more restricted when it comes to soloing the early camps.

I agree that the autocombat results should be fixed, if there's no easy fix, I would suggest the autocombat wouldn't even trigger if you only have Gunslingers/Bounty hunters in your group.

I've not really been able to exploit them, in a normal battle the enemy will just walk to you.

come on thats cooked man, no heroes scenario is played by weekly growth only and conflux already had their x2 growth lol

weekly growth in a void does not define balance in this game, its starting armies, dwellings, costs, build paths etc and i would argue growth in itself is meaningless if one chooses to ignore all the other stuff

"template dependence" in hota i mean yea in what way does the template not matter in regular sod gameplay or in any other heroes context, the map sets up strategies for you to choose and follow so you can get rolling and thats always how it has worked. there is no "long game" where the early and mid game won't matter, unless you play like hot seat with 1 hero and wait for next week capitol rush with only flagging early resource dwellings but thats just for enjoying urself in single player, in a multiplayer context or if you play hard maps to challenge yourself that just wont cut it

the balance depends on the template or the mapmaker, in a void then ofc its not balanced look at n*cropolis

This 1.7 ver did something when Heroes level up and roll skills.


I used to be able to build a proper hero before in 75% of the games with Logistics, offense, defense and 3 magix


Now I do not roll ANYTHING useful in over 50 attempts.


Ergh, edits incoming, I will have to self balance this.
